A year. An entire year had gone by since the birth of his precious. His precious, yes that's what he called her. Myra Abir Rajvansh was an angel for her papa. The way daughters loved their dads was well known around the world but the way Abir loved his daughter, it was just beautiful. For the last entire year he hadn't even spent a single night away from her, he had spent his each vacant moment with Myra and Myra was more attached to him than Mishti. Abhi had been the perfect bhai to Myra in the last year, all credits to his awesome chachu who would train Abhi in the art of being a superman for your siblings. Kiara had been the perfect splash of sunshine for the Rajvansh house but because Myra was the youngest, she was everyone's favourite and a literal bundle of joy. She was by far the calmest baby that Mishti had ever seen. And abir made parenting effortless and Mishti had officially added parenting to the list of things Abir was great at. The way he could handle Abhi and Myra both still baffled Mishti. And finally the day had come that Abir was the most excited about. The night before Myra's birthday. Abir had gone all out to celebrate his angel's birthday. And Mishti still remembered the day like yesterday when it was Abhi's first birthday. Abir overlooked every single detail of the party personally and even got a small tux for Abhi for his special day. And now that it was his angel's birthday he obviously had to give his absolute best. He had arranged for an angel themed birthday party for Myra and had called his family and the people from the NGO and all of Abhi's friends too. He was like a kid on Christmas and even refused to celebrate his birthday because he was so busy prepping for myra's party but after Abhi's request and puppy eyes Abir couldn't refuse and they had a small family dinner  for Abir, the majority part of which was spent talking and planning about the party after two days.
Finally it was 25th September and abir was counting minutes to Myra's birthday. The rest of the family had all called it a night but Abir refused to sleep before wishing Myra on the exact time of her arrival 00:06 AM. Mishti had two over excited kids to deal with and an actual baby to take care of and didn't waste even a single second to tease Abir.
It was 11:50 and abir was pacing his room. Abhi had fallen asleep long ago, and abir didn't want to disturb him when he wished Myra so he had gotten Myra to their room. Myra too was fast asleep and abir had surrounded her by as many pillows to keep her safe and protected. Mishti finally entered the room with the water jug and found Abir sitting by the edge of the bed, looking at Myra sleeping with a smile on his face. Mishti smiled at that, shut the door and walked behind Abir and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his temple softly and asked, "aise kya dekh rahe ho?" She asked softly. Abir looked up at her and smiled and said, "looking at how much our lives have changed in the last five years mishti. And I can't believe that Myra is gonna turn one tomorrow. Time really does fly when you're having fun na?" He asked. Mishti grinned and said, "how would I know, tumhare saath spend kiya har ek moment mere liye ek dream hain abir." She smiled. Abir laughed and pulled her in the front. Mishti smiled and sat down next to him and lay her head on his chest and looked at Myra sleeping. Mishti looked up at Abir who looked like he was in deep thought so she asked him again, "Abir...is everything alright?" She asked. Abir sighed and said, "I just can't believe how life turned around for me. For us. We had so many complaints when it came to our parents and I can only hope that our kids don't have any such complaints when it comes to us." He said. Mishti gave his hand a reassuring squeeze and said, "complaints ka toh pata nahin, but I know that we're trying our best to give them the childhood we didn't have and Abhi aur Myra humare bacche hain, part you and part me, and I don't know if we are the best parents or not, but what I do know is that we're giving our best, loving them with all our hearts and I think that's enough. Abir, you're the best brother, husband and and friend anyone could ever have. But seeing you handle Abi and Myra I can now say that you're also the best father. You have so much love to give and that's evident in the way you handle not only the kids but also kunal for that matter. Myra ke aane ke baad, you've never let Abhi feel any different. You know just how to balance everything Abir and I'm so proud of you." She said firmly. Abir kissed her knuckles at that and said, "pata hain Mishti, very early on in life only I had started dreaming about having kids. About having someone that would be mine to love. Tum toh jaanti hi ho, ghar pe kya hua karta tha, but amidst even all of that, I always wished and prayed for a time where I would have my very own family. And then you came along Mishti. Mine to love. My very own family and I was content. But I've always craved fatherhood you know? Jaise hum books and movies mein dekhte hain, how a girl wants to be a mother, I always wanted to be a father. And then when Abhi came along, my son and for the longest time I couldn't believe that my dreams were finally coming true but I've always had a special connect with baby girls for that matter. Ketu bhi jab chhoti thi na, I would always always be around her. And then this little one came along, Ek chhoti se beti. Humari beti,Mishti. Ek chhoti si naughty si cute si mini Mishti. Everytime I see her, I feel like I'm seeing you when you were a baby Mishti. Her eyes hold so much innocence and she's only one year old! I can't wait for Myra to grow up into a version of us Mishti." He said. Mishti smiled and said, "and I see you in her Abir. And I'm sure that she's going to grow up and be a troublemaker. Just like you. But she's also going to have a heart as kind as yours." Mishti said and pulled his nose. Abir laughed and said, "I just hope that she inherits your courage Mishti." He said. Mishti smiled and looked at the clock and said, "looks like we're on time, it's 00:05." She said. Abir smiled and removed the pillows and took a sleeping Myra in his arms. She cooed in her sleep and abir glanced at the clock and kissed Myra's head and said, "Happy Birthday, Myra. Thank you for coming into our lives and making it so beautiful. Your papa, mumma and bhai love you a lot." He said and kissed her head again. And Myra smiled and cooed in her sleep and put a hand on Abir's cheek. Mishti was standing and recording everything while Abir wished his precious. Then Mishti put the camera down and held Myra in her arms and kissed her forehead and wished her, "Happy first birthday baby! You're not only your papa's wish come true but also mine and even Abhi's. We love you baby!" She wished and Abir recorded her wish.
"Angry chorni, Ab so jaate hain. Kal bohot kaam hain!" Abir said. Mishti nodded and put Myra on the bed and switched off the lights and lay down on the bed. Even in the dark Mishti could see Abir's eyes wide open and smiling at Myra, so she said, "Ajeeb Rajvansh. So jaao. Tumhari beti gayab nahi ho jayegi. She'll be here when you wake up!" She teased. Abir blushed and asked, "what about you? Will you be here when I wake up?" He asked smoothly. Mishti smiled and said, "Always." He smiled and shut his eyes finally.
