Stiles' POV:
"I'm sure you remember this" Doctor Deaton said and held a glass bottle

"Mountain ash" I said

"Like what I said before, mountain ash is believed by many cultures that this can protect themselves against the supernaturals. Did you have a hard time placing mountain ash at the rave?" He asked and I nodded

"I thought the plan was gonna fail. I only had a handful of mountain ash left and still had meters to fill" I said

"It's really hard to cover huge areas with mountain ash but if you're covering only a small area..." he trailed and poured some on his hand. He flung it in the air and the ash surrounded us in a perfect circle

"Woah..." I said amazed

"You just toss it in the air and it'll create a barrier around you. If you feel threatened, just pour a small batch in your hand and throw it above you. If you and your friends are threatened, get a bigger batch to create a bigger circle. Now, mountain ash doesn't affect every supernatural being. They don't affect humans, banshees or chimeras. Give it a try" he said and pushed the glass bottle to me.

I poured a little bit on my hand and tossed it. It landed on top of the previous circle making it thicker but some landed on me.

"That was awesome but why did some land on me" I asked

"Mastery of using mountain ash takes practice but you're a natural so it will not be so hard for you" he said and I nodded. "In large quantities, mountain ash can be dangerous to supernaturals. Eichen house is surrounded by mountain ash and the underground levels have mountain ash lined on the walls, floor, doors, everything so if Scott or any other creature were to step down there, they will get very dizzy and can even faint or be sedated. They won't be able to shift or use their powers" he said and went to his drawer and got four bottles

"This stuff really hurts my brain. I don't think I can be Scott's emissary" I groaned and laid my head on the table

"Don't worry. We only have five more" he said and I paled

"Five more? We already went over 20" I said and he chuckled

"These last ones are the easiest since you've worked with them before. You've worked with mountain ash, wolfsbane and mistletoe" he said. "Wolfsbane also known as monkshood or aconite. Wolfsbane only works on werecreatures. Werewolves, werecoyotes, werejaguars etcetera and these four are different types of wolfsbane." he said and placed the bottles on the table. "This is Nordic Blue Monkshood" he pointed to the bottle with blue contents. "And this is Purple Wolfsbane. These two are the most common" he pointed to the blue and purple wolfsbane. "This is yellow wolfsbane. A different species of wolfsbane. Deadlier and works faster. It's also very expensive" he said. "Finally this is black wolfsbane. It's not lethal but it's still dangerous. This black wolfsbane can weaken werecreatures if given intravenously and it's used as a sedative for them" he said

"Well that's good. I don't have to memorize the names since I can just look at the color" I said and he nodded

"The final one, mistletoe" he said. "Mistletoe is dangerous to most creatures here in this world. It's dangerous for humans like us, banshees, darach, dogs, foxes, kitsunes, werewolves, and many more" he said. "Mistletoe is—" he stopped talking when my phone rang. "You can take that. We have plenty of time to go over all of these later" he said and I nodded. I took my phone out while Doctor Deaton grabbed things from cabinets.
