Silently, Wendy trailed behind Aizawa who was carrying a sleeping Lucy to their room. Nezu had allowed them to leave early, apparently satisfied with the display of power from both girls, especially when he got a glimpse of Ophiuchus. All the teachers were, to say the least, surprised to see a giant snake in the courtyard. Now Wendy sat across from Aizawa who was sitting on the little stool to their vanity. Aizawa stared at the girls, his gaze shifting from Wendy with Carla on her lap, to Lucy who was sleeping peacefully. He seemed to be debating about something but Wendy was too nervous to break the silence and ask.

Much to Wendy's relief Aizawa broke the silence by clearing his throat and inquired: "Just so I know fully what I am getting into by taking care of you guys, I need you to tell me about who you are. I am not expecting a full in-depth conversation about your lives but I do need to know more about you and what you have gone through to get you targeted by those people who sent you here.

"Oh umm...well I guess that makes sense," Wendy was startled by the question, unprepared she glanced at Carla before she took a deep breath and continued starting her nervous rant," Umm...well in our world magic can be learned by anyone, though it can be hereditary like Lucy. Since so many people can use magic our world has guild, in this world, the closest thing is your hero agencies. Wizards or mages can join them to make a living and be around other mages. I am a part of the best guild there is! Fairy Tail!"

Proudly Wendy turned so Aizawa could see the mark on her right shoulder, the color was a little faded from the lack of magic in the world so Aizawa didn't notice it before. He didn't know how to feel about children getting tattoos from those guilds. It reminded him of some rescue missions where they freed people from villains, most of them had been branded so that if they escaped they could be easily found. From the joy on Wendy's face when talking about her guild he decided to put his skepticism aside.

" I use to be part of the guild Cait Shelter but that was just a fake guild full of the dead villager's ghosts created by a boy I meet who later turned out to be from an alternate world from our own but like a mirror world that had similar people but they had a personality swap. Who was the mirror the version of a guy who had tried to bring to life an evil dark wizard but then was defeated by Erza and Natsu before I had joined. Natsu also had a dragon parent like me who taught us dragon slaying before they randomly disappeared one day, which we later found out to be when we had crossed the eclipse gate the sent us 400 years into the future by-"

Wendy was cut off by Aizawa who had to raise his hand while the other pinched the bridge of his nose, the longer Wendy rambled about everything in a nonspecific order the harder time Aizawa had at processing it all. The more she talked the crazier she sounded but he could tell Wendy was telling the truth, by the way, her face lit up at certain things or darkened when a bad memory surfaced.

"Okay kid, you are going to need to take this at a slower pace, and for me to be able to understand a thing you are talking about," Aizawa suggested once he could think straight, he thought about how he really needed a coffee right about now, "To make it simple tell me about your family?"

"Fairy Tail?" Wendy chirped excitedly but slumped when Aizawa shook his head no.

"Your family before them. Like your birth parents?"

Aizawa was not expecting Wendy to tear up at the mention of her parents.

He opened his mouth to apologize for bringing up a sore spot but Carla cut in before he got a chance: "Wendy was orphaned at a very young age so she has no memories of them. But that isn't the reason for her tears, her adoptive parent, well foster mother would be a better term, Grandeeney just recently passed away about two years ago. Though I feel the need to mention Grandeeney was also the dragon who trained Wendy how to wield sky dragon slayer magic."
