2nd Person POV"I wish I could just leave, leave this place forever. But I have to take care of my dad and help my mom out, they needed me"
"I have a weird feeling whenever I'm around you Keiji, what is this, it feels familiar but it seems almost unreal"
"Why do you care for me so much, do you want something from me, are you luring me close to destroy me"
You thought as you laid on your bed hugging a bunny stuff animal. You had just finished making dinner for your dad; mom got a call to work overnight sadly.
Your world had turned around and school felt like a bother. The responsibilities you had had built up and it occupied your mind 24/7. At the moment you weren't living cause you wanted to, you were only alive because you felt obligated to be.
You look at the time 10:47, you put on a hoodie and sweatpants and tiptoed into the living room, you notice your dad asleep on the couch, his figure imprinted onto it as if they were one, you lightly turn the handle and went outside making sure to lock the door.
It was dark and gloomy, there were specks of light from the streets and your house up on the hill overlooked a part of the city that always left you breathless.
Akaashi lived 3 houses down from you but he felt so far, even if you needed him, it felt as if he were hours away. That was kind of how you felt with everyone.
As you walked down the hill, on the edge of the curb pretending it was a balance beam. You made it onto a small bridge that overlooked a river and part of Tokyo.
You would always biked here when you were little, it always seemed to scare you but today, you got onto the ledge and sat there. It had train tracks on it but people have always said it wasn't in service anymore. You sat on the ledge, feet dangling over and you slowly lay back and look up at the stars.
You felt ethereal, all your worries seemed to disappear with the image of the sky. "(y/n)?" a voice called out, but you started to close your eyes thinking you imagined it. The breeze hitting your face, it cooled you down. You were like water on a stove boiling, the bubbles unpredictable like all the changes happening in your life, but once you got to be alone at your favourite spot, everything cooled, like all the bubbles had disappeared and it was still; lifeless almost.
You suddenly open your eyes as you heard footsteps hitting the dirt and rocks, you turn your head slightly to see a pair of running shoes walking towards you, you didn't worry, you didn't care what would happen to you.
You closed your eyes again. If that person were to kidnap you, you would just jump off the bridge and let go of everything. You place your hand intertwined with one another onto your stomach. Waiting to see what the next chapter was in store for you.
You open your eyes and gasp silently as you see Akaashi's face. He sat crosslegged behind your head. He was looking forward, taking in the sights.
"Keiji?" you whisper softly.
"Its beautiful here" he replied still looking at the view.
You nod,
"(y/n) you're like nobody else you know that?" he says with a grin.
