Akaashi didn't stop you because he was actually more happy that he would get to see you.

You started heading to Akaashi's house, it was a Saturday and you knew he would have to go to practice soon so you rush to his home. In the same outfit as last night except with flip flops this time, you knock on Akaashi's house door. He opened it and one of the ends of his lips started curling upwards.

"Hello Keiji, thank you for yesterday, I hope I wasn't a bother. Should I apologize to your parents for having you out so late? I'm sorry if you got in trouble, please don't hate me for this"

You then handed over his jacket, holding it with both your hands, bowing down. He grabbed your arm and pulled you inside.

"my parents aren't home this weekend" he answered.

"Oh..um... your house is very nicely decorated".

He chuckled at your remark and headed towards the kitchen,

"do you want anything,... tea, coffee?" he asked while pulling two mugs out of his light oak cabinets.

"I guess, tea actually, thank you"

You take off your flip flops, good thing you were wearing socks, and start heading towards the kitchen. You looked on the fridge and saw a picture of Akaashi when he was little and giggled on the inside. A tap was felt on your shoulder and you quickly turned around, Akaashi was leaned over to be face to face, his head slightly tilted and he then chuckled

"don't look at that, its kinda embarrassing",

as his hand starting to scratch the back of his neck. Your eyes shot open and suddenly you start to blush,

"I'm sorry, I-... I didn't mean to snoop".

He then started walking towards the table pushed against a wall, you sat down across from him. He took a sip of his coffee and stared at you while you stared at your tea, stirring it around.

"Do you always have to wait for me to talk to you?" he pouts.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I just didn't want to annoy you if you wanted to just drink quietly"

"you would never annoy me".

He got a text on his phone and started typing, he set his phone down on the table and took another sip of his coffee. You looked up at him and asked

"was that your girlfriend?" with a small smile.

He chuckled and shook his head no. For some reason your heart stopped beating so fast and you felt calmed from his answer, why were you feeling this.
