2nd Person POV
You woke up on a queen size mattress, a plaid weighted comforter over your body. The scent brought your memories of last night back.
You scratch your head and smack your ears trying to forget it.
"I can't believe Keiji heard me"
"omg he probably thinks I'm crazy now"
"Oh no, my dad, I- I have to go help him" you say out loud quietly as you quickly push the comforter off your legs and scooted to the edge of the bed.
As you head towards the bedroom door, a creak sound came from the handle. The door opened and Akaashi stood in front of you with a cup of tea. The tea had a white tint behind it, he had put in milk just how you liked it. Your eyes met his and you suddenly stopped breathing for a second. Your heart thumped so loud you were scared he would hear.
"Good morning (y/n)" he said with a small smile forming on his lips but his eyes, it looked sad. Like he was about to cry but also gave off a feeling of relief. He walked towards the dining table and set down the cup of tea. You stood at the doorway frozen, he walked up behind you, placing his hands on your shoulders, pushing you towards one of the dining chairs. The chair was cold and your thighs shivered at the feeling, you didn't know what to say.
"You look beautiful in the morning (y/n), do you know that"
You blush at his statement but your eyes sadden, why does he keep complimenting me, stop feeding me lies Keiji.
"Last night,... I didn't mean for you to hear any of it. It's my responsibility to take care of my own problems.... *long pause* So, are we good?"
You say cutely looking down while cupping your hands around your cup of tea. You let out a little giggle thinking maybe it will cut the tension a little.
Akaashi pulls one of the chairs beside you and he quickly spins your chair to face him. Your hand still holding onto the cup, he lays his hands on top your yours.
Pure warmth filled your body and you start to tear up. No one has ever given you such comfort.
"I'm useless, I don't deserve the attention" you said in your mind.
"I'll walk with you to your house"
He said while sitting up and heading towards the door.

8 days since your dad's funeral and you kept everything to yourselfYou were late for school. You rush into the classroom, ripples of sweat falling from your forehead. Sliding onto a seat next to Akaashi, he was gone last week to a volleyball training camp he told you about but your head was thinking about your father at that time.
"Hi Keiji, how was volleyball training camp?"
"It was okay, just sad I didn't get to see you as usual" he replied with a big smile on his face
