Hope's POV:
I stand there, shocked. "Y-you're both dead. T-this h-has t-to be some s-sort of t-trick." I say, cursing my stuttering in my head. The two of them walk forward, but I back up. "How do I know it's you?" I ask. Klaus steps forward first.
"We painted in the garden when you were seven. You healed a butterfly because you saw that it's wing was broken." "When you passed out with the Hollow inside of you you were sent here. I told you to find at least one epic love and to live your life." Hayley says.
More tears run down my face as I race towards them, throwing myself into both of their waiting arms. I cry, letting everything out. When I pull away both of them are staring at me in awe. "You're so beautiful sweetheart." My dad says. "You brave little girl."
"Hayley? Niklaus? Who was that wolf?" I hear. I smile and my parents part to reveal Uncle Elijah. Laughing happily I race over and throw myself into his arms. "Hope?" He breaths, shocked. I nod.
"Why are you here? I can smell death on you, but if you had died a vampire you would have ended up here like the rest of us. How are you here?" He asks. "A long story." I turn to my parents. "I'm a full tribrid." They look at me concerned.
"I did a little over two weeks ago. I died saving the people I count as family." I say. They nod and smile again. I turn to my parents. "Who all is here?" I ask. "Why don't you find out?" I turn again to see several more people walk out of the woods. "Jackson? Cami? Josh? Aiden?" I ask.
"Hope?" Cami asks. Aiden and Jackson look shocked as well. When they died I was just a baby. I nod. I go over and hug them. "Thank you for protecting me when you all were alive." I say. They all beam at me. Everyone is looking at me now. I'm so overwhelmed.
Everyone I've ever lost in my life is here with me. I even sense the rest of the dead Crescents that my mom was with when I visited. They're all here. "How did you get here if you didn't die in our world?" Cami asks. I sigh.
"There was this pit called Malivore. It could only be closed by a werewolf, a witch, and a vampire together. I jumped in to save my friends and the school, but I hadn't died so I was basically poisoning Malivore so it spit me out here three years ago." I say.
"Where have you been?" My mom asks. "I stayed with the elves. I made friends, found family, discovered my epic love." I say, smiling. "I'm so proud of you sweetheart." My dad says. "You said you needed us, what for?" Jackson asks. I am then shoved back into reality.
"You might not know much about this world, but centuries ago there was someone named Sauron. He set out to claim Middle Earth, where we are, as his own. He was defeated, but now he's rising. He's going to kill my family that I've made here." They all look concerned now.
"He's going to kill the man I love and...he's going to kill me because I'm the biggest threat to him." I say. My father's face hardens into a glare. "He won't get the chance." He says. Hayley stands and turns to Jackson.
"The Crescents will follow you. I'm going to help her because I will not lose my daughter." She says. He nods. "I promised you that we would always protect Hope. That did not die with me." He then turns to me. "We're with you kid."
I smile appreciatively as fifty wolves emerge from the trees. "Your call sweetheart. Where are we going?" My dad asks. "Mordor, that's where Sauron's forces are gathering. I know don't understand the world beyond this forest, but it's harsh and cruel and unforgiving." I say.
"We're with you hope. Always and forever." Uncle Elijah says. I nod, smiling. "Follow me." With that I lead them out of the forest. Bell is long gone by now like I told her. "It's a long trip. Over a week." "Then we better get started them." My dad says. I nod and shift quickly.
Once I've shifted into wolf form I turn to see my parents gone. They emerge with their clothes tied to their ankles. Once everyone is ready we take off at werewolf/vampire speed. I can only pray we make it in time. We run for a week straight.
We're almost there, but we have to stop and rest. We're no good if we're too tired to fight. Most of the wolves choose to stay in wolf form to sleep while my parents, Jackson, Aiden, and I turn back. While everyone sleeps my parents and I take watch.
"Tell us of the life you have here." My dad says. I smile. "When I first got here, spit out of Malivore, I had no clue where I was. Then I met an elf, Lord Elrond of Rivendell. He took me in and raised me as his own. As did Gandalf, a wizard who taught me." I start. They are both beaming.
My mom has tears in her eyes. Most likely thinking about how much I've grown since I lost the two of them. "I met my best friends, Legolas, an elf prince, and Arwen, Elrond's daughter. I also met the love of my love. Aragorn, true King of Gondor." I say.
"A King? Only a king is meant for daughter." My dad says. I laugh. "He's the best person I know." I touch my necklaces. "What is it?" My mom asks. "My necklace is pul-Ah!" I cry out, jerking forward. My necklaces are red hot. "What is it? What's wrong?" My dad asks, terrified.
My mom is in the same panic. "A-Aragorn. My necklace that I gave him so that I would know if he's in trouble-it's broken. I can't feel him." I say, tearing up. My parents pull me into their arms. "It's ok sweetheart." "You don't understand. If it broken, he could be dead." I sob.
They hold me until the sun comes up and the tears are all dried up. Once the wolves are ready we shift and take off. I'm coming Aragorn. I'm coming.
