Goshiki took a deep breath before knocking on the door to Washijou's study. He was nervous to meet the old man today after he got a phone call from him yesterday night. What made him even more terrified is that he forbade him from bringing anyone along. Not even Semi, not even Wakatoshi, especially not Yuu.
Goshiki heard his voice allowing him to go inside. The young man twisted the doorknob and opened the door, going into the study. There were two muscular bodyguards in there, both standing beside Washijou. Goshiki hates his bodyguards. They're just so scary.
Washijou was signing some papers and checking some documents, probably from his company. Goshiki thought that Wakatoshi handles everything now, he thought Washijou just sits at home and do nothing. Guess the old man couldn't sit still.
He saw a monitor there on the table and it showed a familiar place. He saw Semi cooking in the kitchen and Yuu chilling in the living room with Denki in his arms. He wasn't sure why Washijou has access to the security cameras in Ushijima's house but he didn't like it.
"You called for me, sir?" He interrupted Washijou's focus. Washijou stopped what he was doing and gave him a smile. He pushed his work aside.
"Why yes. I needed to talk to you. Have a seat." He said, offering a seat to Goshiki. Goshiki sat down and looked at Washijou, waititng to hear what he has to say that was so important that only he was allowed to be here.
"Do you want some tea?"
"No, but thank you for the offer though." Goshiki smiled a little. He can't be at ease until Washijou speak of the reason he's here. Washijou just nodded and proceeded to pour himself a cup of tea.
"Ah, I thought you like tea. I have heard from Wakatoshi that Yuu really likes the tea you prepare for him every morning. I guess you only drink the tea you make." Washijou said, sounding disappointed. Goshiki just smiled, not knowing what to respond.
The room was suddenly filled with silence, making Goshiki even more nervous. The ticking of the giant clock in a corner was all he could hear, followed by Washijou's sips. Goshiki looked down to his feet, avoiding looking at anyone else in the room.
"I see that you've been really close to Yuu."
Goshiki was relieved that Washijou finally said something, breaking the painful silence. He smiled at the old man in front of him, letting out a soft chuckle.
"Yeah, we're really close." Goshiki said, finally at ease, thinking that he wanted to talk about how close he is with Yuu. "You could say that she's like a big sister to me."
"Are you sure you two are not more than that?"
"Hah?"
Goshiki stared at Washijou, confusion evident on his face. Washijou had a disgusting smirk on his face as he placed his cup down and clasped his hands together. Goshiki could feel the nervousness slowly coming back.
"Don't you have feelings for Yuu?"
"N-no."
"Careful there. I can sense lies, Goshiki."
"I do not have feelings for Yuu-neesama. She is happily married. You know that and so do I." Goshiki denied.
"Ah, but you're wrong Goshiki. You do have feelings for her, only you know you can't. There's a difference. You're a smart boy, you should know what that difference is." Washijou kept spouting out what Goshiki deemed as nonsense.
He DOES NOT have any romantic feelings for Yuu. He only sees Yuu as someone he looks up to, an older sibling. He never had an older sibling, nor a younger. He was raised by his parents as an only child and the friends he made are just... friends.
