Chapter 10- Friends

Taehyung tried many ways to win over Jisoo. But nothing seems to work on her. At this point Taehyung is also  loosing hope. He is exhausted trying and trying to gain her attention but all tries in vain. So atlast he thought to confess everything to her and that will happen Today. But how he will say that he loves her, as he promised her only friendship.

But can he bury his feelings deep inside his heart forever? No, he can't. He has to express. So, after fighting many battles with his own  heart and mind, he came to the conclusion and listened to his heart. He is in his office when he decided to call Jisoo.

"Hey! Taehyung."

"Hi! We need to talk."

"Ok. We can. Come home early."

"No, not at home. Why don't we meet me at the near by park? You shouldn't have problem. Today is your day off, right?"

"Yeah, I don't have classes today, but I am studying for my upcoming exams."

"Oh! You better study. Today I might come late."

Jisoo understood something was off in Taehyung's mood so she decided five minutes doesn't matters, right? Before she could say him that five minutes are okay, he cut off his line immediately. Guilt flushed in her mind cause when he called her it seemed he wants to say her something. But now she regretted not to say, yes.

Taehyung had a hell of a busy day, today. He had decided to confess to Jisoo but resulted in completing a whole lot of work from the office. He is so exhausted that the only thing that came to his mind is to sleep. When he got home it was pretty late and saw Ji-hoon pacing around the house.

"Uncle? What happened?" Taehyung asked as soon as he entered the house.

"Oh god! Taehyung. You are really a piece of art. Where were you?"

"Why? I was in the office. I called Jisoo and said her I would be home late."

"Oh! So now you have the time to call her but not me. You know, right? You are our responsibility, and if something would had happened to you..." He trailed off.

"Uncle I am not a kid. And I can pretty well handle myself. Don't worry."

"From now on, if you are coming late or something like that you are calling me, is it clear?"

"Yes uncle." Ji-hoon hugged Taehyung tightly and was relieved that he was okay.

"Uncle, don't you think, you overreacted?"

"No. Friends are bound to worry for friends. And another reason it has been only two months you came. I thought you lost your way back home or worse someone attacked you."

Taehyung was surprised by his confession and chuckled.

"Uncle, if someone would had  attacked me, trust me, I might would have became their worst nightmare. I am not that easy to be handled. Now uncle, as a matter of fact I am very tired and hungry."

"Yeah, go get freshen up. The dinner would be ready by then."

...

After dinner he thought it is his time to have a long nap. But as he got to lay down on the bed his phone buzzed with Jisoo's message.

Meet me at the parking lot around 3 am. Don't be late...

Why? I am tired Jisoo. He typed back.

I know you are but it won't take much time, and have some rest till then.

God, Jisoo why?

You ask a lot of questions. Do as I said. Be ready. Bye, sleep tight and pls do wake up by 3am. If not I'll call you and will give you the reminder.

Taehyung stood infront of the parking lot and waited for Jisoo. It seems the one who proposed for meeting is late herself. Then he saw Jisoo tiptoeing and carrying her heels on her hands.

"Oh god. It's too hard. I have done this first time in my life."

"But why did you do that?"

"Let's go to the airport."

"Why?"

"Have I ever mentioned you to be question bank. No, right?"

"Never. But you woke me up in the middle of my sleeping hours and expect me to keep quiet? That's not gonna happen."

"Ok fine. Tomorrow is dad's birthday and I want to surprise him by inviting your parents. You know how close your parents are with mine so I think that would be a great present. What do you think?"

"Mom and dad are coming. Awesome, I was missing them so much. And I think it really will be a great present for uncle."

They arrived at the airport and at the same time the plane landed, making Taehyung excited and happy to see his parents after nearly two months.

"Mom, dad." They approached his parents with wide smile plastered on their faces.

"Tae, how are you son?" Taehyung's mother asked and hugged him tightly.

"I am fine, mom. How about you and dad?"

"We are good son." Taehyung's father answered and also hugged him.

Then the two noticed Jisoo smiling towards them. Taehyung's mother hugged her and his father only patted his shoulders.

"Jisoo, did my son caused any trouble?"

"No, uncle. He has been a great friend."

"Good, son." His mother beamed in proud for his son...
