America's POV

"Who wants to bet that I can do a backflip off of this?"

"South, nyet."

I looked up to see South balancing up on one of the support beams. He had given Russia his camera and me his duffle bag so he could climb up onto the beams. They were less like the sturdy beams I have seen in other older houses and cabins, these were more like thick branches tied together with what looked like bark. How the hell that was able to bend around the wood was out of my realm of knowledge.

"I can do it," South ignored us, looking down at the ground lit with flashlights. Russia looked to me then set the camera down, getting ready to catch him. I didn't want to miss another one of his stupid stunts, so I kept my camera focused on him. In the dim light, I could just about make out his face and his look of determination.

South was just about to jump when I heard someone come walking up behind us. It was Vietnam, and he stopped in his tracks when he saw South up on the beam.

"What the hell are you doing?!"

"Whoa, fuck!" South exclaimed when he heard the shouting. I spun around just in time to see him desperately grab at the air in front of him like it could help balance himself. Russia quickly opened his arms and positioned himself below the beams to catch South as he fell from the rafters. He caught him and I ran to them just as South was set on his feet.

"I leave you all alone for ten minutes and you already try and kill yourselves!" Vietnam scolded us as he started stomping towards us, his eyes narrowed in an angered stare. He sounded like he thought he was the overall parent of the group and we were his rebellious kids. "Do you have any idea how dangerous that could have been?"

"NOW I do." South gashed for air, his hand tightly clutched on Russia's sleeve. One would think he would have learned from that time when he tried to backflip off a counter. But alas.

"I'm friends with you." Vietnam shook his head and pinched the bridge between his eyes like he was disappointed in that fact.

"Hey, where's Phil?" I asked, looking around him and towards the entrance. I had to look through the camera screen to see clearly, my sunglasses darkened my vision so any light I saw was dimmed to me.

"What do you mean? He said he was going to you guys for something." Vietnam immediately lost his disappointed manner and quickly looked around us for Phil. I gave him a confused look. Phil never came here. We actually hadn't seen Phil, Canada, nor Ukraine since me, Russia and South wandered into this. And we've been in here for a little bit, maybe like fifteen minutes.

Vietnam pushed past me and looked around, straining his eyes to see in the dark. Russia grabbed his flashlight, handed South his camera and I handed him back his bag. When all that was situated we all ran after Vietnam to try and find Phil. Vietnam looked freaked out. But honestly, Phil got so interested in everything here he probably saw something and went to check it out.

"Don't worry, V," I bumped his arm with my elbow to try and calm him down. "Phil's alright, he probably just wandered off and found something cool. It's safe here anyway."

As I said that, the unsettling feeling I've been able to ignore so far rose back up. That's when I started to get a little bit freaked out, but was able to keep that hidden. No one showed any signs of being unsettled, beyond the normal stuff, and I have no actual proof that this place is dangerous.

"Phil!" Vietnam cupped his hands over his mouth and shouted. His voice echoed for a few seconds, going far into the trees. "Philippines!"

"What is with the shouting?"
