CHAPTER 11

AMELIA'S POV

"Amelia." I felt a finger tracing the features of my face. From my forehead, to my cheeks, the tip of my nose and finally it stopped on my bottom lip.

"Hmm." I said trying to get the get the finger off my face.

"Wake up love." I knew it was Jasper's sweet voice and this time I felt his hands cup my cheek.

"5 more minutes." I said with my eyes still closed.

"No." I placed a hand over his.

"Please."

"Wake up now love or else I'll...uhm...or else I'll kiss you!" My eyes widened as it opened and I can see Jasper looking down at me with a smirk forming his lips. What in the world is he doing in my room this early in the morning?

"What are you doing here?" I asked as I yawned.

"Well, since our midnight sneak out have been cancelled, I have the entire day planned ahead of us." He said to me smiling. I love it whenever he smiles like that.

"Do tell. What do you have in mind?"

"I'll tell you after breakfast."

"But I'm still sleepy."

"Come on now."

"No."

"Get up Amelia."

"Good night Jasper!" I said I shut my eyes close-

"No! No more sleeping for you lady! You've been asleep for 19 hours already! I've missed you!" He said to me while pouting his lips. I couldn't help myself but laugh at his silly, adorable little expression.

"I'm just tired and all. You have no idea what it's like to deal with a damsel in distress." I said as I inched closer to his chest and held his nape tightly.

"I don't want you tiring yourself love. Let the maids deal with her." He said as he planted a swift kiss on my forehead.

"It's ok Jasper, I'll be fine."

"You can let the maids do that for her."

"So she can run off and be with you? Besides it's the Queen who asked me to accompany her not the maids." I said to him.

"I won't let her get to me. I'd still be with you."

"I'm alright, really. Stop worrying yourself too much." I said and he gently lay me across the bed. I can't believe he was carrying me in his arms the entire time.

"I'm just worried, just concerned about the woman I love."

"I'm perfectly fine. There's nothing to worry about, okay?" I asked as I cupped his face.

"Okay. Okay." He said while placing his hands over mine.

"Now, time for bed." I said while pulling up the comforter to cover my upper body.

"Amelia-"

"Do you want to sleep beside me Jasper?"

"Why didn't you say so?" This man really? I lay myself comfortably and snuggled in his chest. He placed an arm on my shoulders while the other stayed on my waist.

"Good night love." He said as she closed his eyes.

"And I'm supposed to be the weirdo?" I asked with a raised brow.

"Hmm." I said, agreeing.

"Crazy. You're crazy Jasper."

"Sleep woman." He said as she brushed my hair with his fingers. Soon enough we were both fast asleep in each other's arms.
