Lord, bakit ako?

Lord, bakit naman ako? Nagbabasa naman ako ng bible kahit paunti unti. Nagma-myday pa nga ako ng bible verses tapos nagbabasa rin ako ng mga devotion tapos nagsheshare pa ako sa facebook ng words mo tapos umaattend ng OLG. Bakit ako?

Pag nadadapa tayo o nalulugmok, yan yung tinatanong natin kay Lord. Lord, bakit ako? Alam mo ga kung anong sagot ni Lord? Sabi nya, "Bakit hindi ikaw? Don‟t you believe that I can make miracles in your life? Don‟t you trust me? You have been prepared all along. It‟s time to not just learn on books. It‟s time to apply what you have learned in your actual experience."

May nabasa akong devotion sa bible app months ago. Ang title nya ay "Dangerous Prayers". It says „I will never insult God with small thinking or safe living. If there are blessings on the other side of brokenness, then break me‟.

True enough, it was a very dangerous prayer.

I tested positive. I was so broken. I was even crushed. Pero alam mo yon? Mayroon talagang blessing sa other side of brokenness. In fact, MARAMI. Napakadaming itinuro sakin ni Lord on my Covid19 Survival journey so keep on reading for you to know.

You really have to "Rejoice in every circumstance" not because of your pain but because he uses your pain or whatever you‟re going through to prepare you for something. You see, when God breaks you, He‟s sending you somewhere at sabi nga ni Fr. Jerry Orbos, "When God leads you to scary places, he wants you to trust him more."

I remember watching Pastor Steven Furtick at Elevation Church on Facebook. He discussed about Judas Iscariot‟s betrayal. Can you recall how Jesus was betrayed by Judas? It is because the Lord has planned to save us from our sins through his son Jesus Christ. Can you imagine what could have been happened if Judas did not betray Jesus? Will he still be carrying the cross? Will we be saved? I don‟t know. Things happen because he has prepared us for something. Whatever you‟re going through has to happen. I had a Covid because that has to happen. Who knows he has planned me to be typing this testimony on a Sunday morning with a cup of tea?
