| Big Fish |"Girl please tell me you're not going to Jail dressed like that?" Tiffany stressed.
I raised my brow and over looked my outfit.I didn't see anything wrong with it. I specifically picked this outfit out so that little to no skin was showing.
"What's wrong with it?"
"Girl your ass is what's wrong, them pants are skin tight." Tiffany laughed biting a piece of her French fry.
I rolled my eyes.
"Girl bye you sound like Terrance's mother last night." I shook my head searching for a crispy fry.
"No she didn't talk about your ass!"
"Uh yes she did, she basically told me to eat a salad."
"And what does Terrance think?"
I sighed, pushing my basket away from me.
"So he agrees?"
I nodded.
"He said that my curves stand out too much in my outfits, outfits that he also doesn't approve of. He doesn't like the looks I get out in public. He has me up working out every morning before work, to "stay healthy". But I know it's because he thinks I should drop a couple pounds."
"What? Girl I was just joking, your body is perfect. You literally have a body, women like me are willing to pay for! Ain't no hiding those curves, show them off if anything. And if he's that concerned he should of got him a white woman." She shrugged.
I smiled, Tiffany always hyped me up. That's why she's my sister for life!
"Thank you boo, I wish everybody else would stop tryna change me. I used to love my body, but now they have me second guessing. I mean Terrance wasn't complaining, before we got married. But now it's like I'm trying to live up to their standards."
"Girl fuck them, and Terrance is acting like he don't get the same attention. Y'all are both an attractive couple, he should be worried if nobody is looking at all."
I laughed, me and Tiffany were polar opposites, she was loud and out spoken. While I was more reserved, expect when I was in the court room that is.
"You're right." I looked down at my Rolex and shook my head.
"Time to go?"
I nodded, sadly it was. After today's court hearing, I thought I would relax after closing my latest case. But Mr. Knight insists on meeting today, so I could kiss the much needed nap good bye.
Not like work would let me sleep anyway, if it's not one thing it's another. But I didn't mind, I loved my job and I couldn't bring myself to complain.
