Chapter 64: 속삭이다 of love

They had finished up the final shoot for the drama advertisements. Taehyung had been clinging to the younger the whole time. Normally it would've been the other way around but taehyung had been holding the peachette close with a smile. Jungguk just let it happen because he enjoyed the attention but something about it was different. He couldn't help worry as to why the blonde was acting like this. The feeling was washed away when the older kissed at his neck but it came back equally as bad. 

The younger couple were relaxing on one of the window seats. Taehyung has his chin on the younger's shoulder. every now and then he would nudge his head so it would hit the side of the younger's head. Jungguk would glance over at the older and a smile would form but the feeling of something nagging at him would come again. 

"Hyungie are..are you okay?" He timidly asked as he felt worried.

"I'll tell you when we get home… just let me cuddle onto you" Taehyung replied quietly and sighed.

"Oh.. okay hyungie, sure." Jungguk nodded and let a small smile form. 

"Hey.. you guys can go if you want to," Hoseok spoke up, making the younger turn his head. 

"Do you want to go now, hyungie? We could walk to the park beforehand if you want to.." Jungguk asked quietly to the older.

"Could we go home? I wanna cuddle up to my bunny more" Taehyung spoke softly as he buried his head into the younger's neck more. 

"Okay" Jungguk replied in a voice as sweet as honey and soft like a feather. 

The two got up slowly and Taehyung took hold of the younger's hand in his own, tightly. Afraid he might lose the peachette from his fingertips. Jungguk got a weird feeling something wasn't right. He couldn't put his finger on it, nor could he read the other's expression. He let out a sigh knowing it'll be one of those days. He's had them before. Back in high school. 

"Gguk.." jungguk hummed in response.

"I need to tell you something when we get home.." 

"It isn't bad, it is?" Jungguk questioned nervously.

"That's hard to say… it's not bad in the sense of our relationship, trust me… it's just something personal.." Taehyung explained seeing the nervous expression on the younger's face shift to relief. 

"Okay" Jungguk nodded and turned to open the front door of Moonchild and they made their way out. 

As soon as they stepped out the older pulled the younger closer and placed a kiss on his cheek while holding his waist softly. Jungguk blushed at the sudden action, not expecting it. Then Taehyung smiled, it was a small smile that had a hidden meaning behind it and the younger could see it. But he didn't know the meaning, he could see it hiding something. 

The older then held the younger as they made their way back to their apartment called home. The blonde almost, seeming like himself a few hours before. But the younger knew better. The simple trees, wind, cars and people didn't seem as important to the younger as the older did to him and that's something that almost hurt him in a way. 

It was a soft yet dull pain in his chest. The dull pain of worry had settled in his heart as he watched the olders expressions. This was new to see for Jungguk. It was normally the other way around. Is this what the older felt when he looked after him? Jungguk gulped lightly and felt guilt in himself. 

"Is this what you feel?" 

"What do you mean, baby?" Taehyung quarreled.

"Is this what you feel when you worry about me? The pain in your chest. That dull yet soft pain in your heart? Oh god I feel like a burden to you.. " Jungguk explained looking down while hiding his face in his hands. 

"Baby, my sweet bunny, you could never, ever burden me, sweetheart, honey… me feeling that in my heart means I truly worry about you, I truly love you, okay?" Taehyung smiled while lifting the younger's face up softly and cooing seeing tears in the younger's eyes. 

"Okay, I love you too, I'm just worried because I've never seen you like..I.. this, and I've seen it on..myself in the past.." Jungguk stammered trying to find the words to express his thoughts. 

"And you have every right to be worried, I promise I'll tell you when we get home" Taehyung spoke softly and placed his forehead on the younger's forehead. Jungguk nods before letting the older, take his hand and they walk back towards their home. 

The familiar building. The familiar walls. The familiar elevator. Even the familiar door to their apartment came too quickly for the blondes liking. But he knew he should tell the younger sooner rather than later. They stepped inside and took off their shoes and went to the couch with the younger sitting next to the older with his hand on the other shoulder. 

"Now, what was it you wanted to tell me, hyungie?" Jungguk asked softly. 

"So.. you know how it's been a year since my eomma died?... well the anniversary of her death is coming up… and I can't stop thinking about it.." Taehyung admitted in a voice that was almost above a whisper. 

"Oh.. you know tae, we could go visit her grave if you'd like to? But it's up to you and we could even do things you enjoyed doing with her, only if you want to, hyungie" Jungguk suggested nervously, not really knowing how it felt to have someone die, but he knows the fear of losing someone to deaths boney hands. 

"That would be nice, thank you, beautiful" Taehyung replied, looking over at the younger before leaning over and placing his lips on the younger's in a small yet sweet and passionate kiss. 

"You're welcome, tae, may I ask when is it?" Jungguk asked softly after they pulled away. 

"In a few days, not too far, it sorta hit me during the photoshoot, sorry about that.." Taehyung apologized softly. 

"It's okay, you've been there for me, now it's my turn to be there for you" Jungguk smiled as he played with the olders blonde hair. 

Taehyung stared at the younger's beauty and wondered to himself, how did he get so lucky. Out of all the people he's met in his life, he was glad he had met the beauty in front of him. 

"What did I do in a past life to deserve you?" Taehyung asked aloud, making the peachette blush. 

"S..something good, I hope.." 

"Like… save someone from being killed by a flying knife?" Taehyung asked with a small smile. 

"..maybe hyung..maybe.." Jungguk giggled and shook his head softly. Taehyung smiled at the younger's reaction. 

"I wonder what I did..?" Jungguk muttered softly.

"Well whatever it was I bet it was amazing" Taehyung replied, smiling at the younger softly and playing with his peachy locks of hair. 

"Hyungieee" Jungguk giggled and smiled at the feeling of the olders fingers through his hair. 

Though the day started off good, went bad and then came back to being good, that's just how a day sometimes goes and we cannot control that. 

We can just adjust and make the next day better.
