Chapter 7 : 점심 식사 Cookies

When the younger was sound asleep and snuggled up against the model that was there holding him. He felt safe. But He still had his; what he would call 'normal' sleep. He'd sometimes get night terrors. This being the reason he didn't like horror movies and couldn't sleep after watching them. His subconscious would turn those made up storylines, mostly filled with jumpscares and turn it into something that he wished he could control.

 Everytime he was forced to watch a horror movie by his roommates, he would spend half the night either playing Overwatch or having to deal with the night terrors alone. 

Alone. Everytime he woke up from one he would feel the cold sweat drip down the back of his neck. His body shaking and it hurt so damn much. It felt like his body was stiff but it was shaking. He would go through all of this alone. 

Taehyung watched as Jungguk slept soundly. Running his fingers through the youngers peach hair softly. Then brushing his fingers in circles around Jungguk's neck and just under his ear in soft movements around the peach fuzz of his skin. His thumb brushed against the younger's earrings and it moved slightly. Jungguks skin was soft and delicate against his own hand. A slight whimper was heard from the younger making taehyung worry. 

Jungguks breathing started to pick up as if he was running. Then a quiet sob fell from his red bitten lips. His body started to shake. Little mumbles could be heard falling from his lips. His body tensed up but continued to shake. Taehyung watched with fear in his widened eyes. So many worried thoughts spun into taehyung's mind. What was the younger dreaming about? What could have made Jungguk react like this in such distress? 

Then the youngers body jolted as he woke up, his breathing was uneven and he coughed lightly while taking in the cold air around him. His hands were still shaking against taehyung's chest practically gripping the soft material of his sweater. Tears started to dwell up in his bambi like eyes. 

"Ggukie.. What happened?... talk to me...please" taehyung asked with softness in his voice as he stroked the others cheek softly with the pad of his thumb. Jungguk took deep breaths and licked his lips trying to get rid of the horrible tightness in his chest. 

"...i..i get… night…… night terrors… only sometimes.. like after watching a horror movie.. but they last for up to… up to a week or more.. it's painful.. so very painful" Jungguk explained though it was hard to since some of his tears had fallen and rolled down his cheeks with taehyung noticing and with a softened gaze and a brush of his thumb wiped away the fallen tears of the younger. 

"Its okay, you're okay now, those ...night terrors can't and won't ever harm you. you've been strong.. so very very strong.. I'll be here whenever you need me. I promise" taehyung softly said aloud to the younger promising him something that made Jungguk smile and calm down upon hearing. 

"Thank you Taehyungie" Jungguk smiled at the older softly. Taehyung moved his hand to rest on the youngers forehead and checked if the youngers fever had gone down at all. 

"You're fever has gone down a bit, which is good, how are you feeling though?" Taehyung asked with concern laced in his voice as he brushed the peach haired males bangs out the way. 

"... hmm a little b-better.. still a bit of a headache and w-weak though, but not feeling as hot or c-cold anymore" the younger replied to the older shifting around a bit to get comfortable in the others arms. 

"You still need some rest and some food" taehyung murmured aloud. At the mention of food, jungguks stomach growled in need of food which made his cheeks glow red with embarrassment up to the tips of his ears. Taehyung chuckled lightly and softly brushed his fingertips along the youngers cheek bone.
