Chapter 57: how sweet is it to be 당신에 의해 사랑.

Even the happiest people break. Even the saddest people stop caring. Even ill tempered give up eventually. But this isn't what the younger felt. Jungguk felt as if his whole world was torn apart in front of his eyes. He felt as if he had nothing. This was the case for Taehyung. How did he find a way to fix his mind? He met the younger and over time he healed. The older will now do the same for him. Taehyung will help heal the younger. Because he was once lost too. 

Lost in the empty space of one's mind or in this case a hospital room. With beeps from a machine impersonating a human's heart beat. The sound of another machine letting oxygen flow. The only thing that broke the silence around them were the horns of cars and shouts of people in the street outside. 

"...mama?" Jungguk mumbled softly to gain his mama's attention as the older was now asleep against his neck. He had woken up minutes before feeling the blonde fall asleep against him. 

"What is it sweetheart?" Jennie spoke softly in reply. 

"..you should go home… get some rest.." jungguk urged softly afraid that his voice would echo in the quiet room. 

"No, no baby bunny… I have to stay here.. you should go.." jennie spoke with such sincerity in her voice that you could feel the honey dripping down. 

"I don't want to wake up hyungie though.." jungguk giggled softly as he ran his fingers through the blonde's hair, then feeling his boyfriend grip at his waist more in his sleep. 

"I'm glad he's there for you" Jennie smiled very small yet soft, almost feeling some warmth in the cold hospital room. 

"I am too… I wouldn't want it any other way" jungguk admitted smiling while looking down at his boyfriend. 

"Do you know if he wants kids?" Jennie suddenly asked, breaking the silence again. 

"We… we haven't really talked about it… you know since it's still early days for us, but I hope he does.." jungguk sighed. 

"Of course I do" the olders deep groggy voice made the younger jump a bit. 

"When did you wake up mister?" Jungguk asked softly, still running his fingers through the others hair.

"When you started to run your fingers through my hair. " taehyung replied smiling.

"Oh.. I'm sorry, old habit…" 

"Hey, hey, hey, it's okay beautiful, whatever helps you okay?" Taehyung reassured, making the younger nod. 

"Words baby" taehyung urged.

"Okay hyungie" jungguk smiled with a small giggle. 

"You two are so cute, ah my heart" Jennie sighed and teased the two with a smile. 

"M-mama.." jungguk mumbled and hid his face in the crook of the others neck cutely making taehyung chuckle. 

"Reminds me of when Lisa and me, first started dating" Jennie smiled and sadly looked over to Lisa laying in the hospital bed. 

"Mrs Jeon, how long did Lisa and you date before getting married?" Taehyung asked curiously. 

"Hmm.. I believe it was for three years and then on our fourth anniversary she proposed to me, why did you want to know?" She was curious about the other's question.

"Just wondering, I'll talk with you about it later."  taehyung smiled. Jungguk just sat and listened feeling confused by the question. 

"Anyway, bun you should go home, I don't want you to be here as long as I have" Jennie urged.

"No mama, you should go, you have dark bags under your eyes..you need rest" jungguk stubbornly replied. 

"How about you go first and I'll go before seven pm, okay bun?" 

"Hmm.. okay" He nodded " but if anything happens before you leave please text me mama" jungguk finished. 

"Of course bun, taehyung take care of him" 

taehyung smiled at her and nodded. He let the younger get up first before standing up himself. The peachette walked over to his mama and gave her a quick hug and kissed her forehead.

"Please get some rest mama" he urged softly making Jennie nod. 

With taehyung following behind he left the room and they made their way down the hall. Suddenly the younger stopped in his tracks and taehyung watched questionably. The peachette turned around with his head down. 

"Baby…?" Taehyung muttered. 

"She isn't going to be okay, is she?" 

"Who-" 

"Mama...she isn't going to be okay, is she?" He asked again. Taehyung sighed heavily. He didn't want to lie nor did he want to hurt the younger. 

"...I'm not sure of that, but what I do know is that with our support, she will be okay with time but for now it will be hard on the both of you" taehyung replied with such honesty in his voice. Jungguk nodded and brought his hand up to wipe away a fallen tear. 

"Awww.. no baby.." taehyung whispered then walked up to the peachette and cradled him in his arms, wanting the younger to know that he was safe and that he was okay.

"Shhh, it's okay, you're okay, my baby bun, my sweet baby bun" taehyung consulted the other softly while rubbing his back in smooth circular motions. 

He felt the younger shake in his arms from hiccuping. The sounds of sobs echoed through the halls. Jungguk felt his knees go weak and almost fell, but the older had him secured in his arms. 

For once all jungguk wished that all this was just a horrible nightmare from which he could wake up from. But this wasn't the case this time. Everything felt too real. Even the feeling of the olders breath and arms around his body.
