Chapter 6

Brianna's POV

I felt the light hit my face. I fluttered my eyes open. I felt a sharp pain in my neck. It took me a minute to realize why. As soon as I remembered I shot up. I looked around the room to see if he was still here. Last night was sort of a blur. Damon called me. I went to get Elena's diary and I turned around and Damon was there. I ran to my closet to hide. He found me and pinned me against the wall. He covered my mouth and.... and he bit me. I got up and ran to the bathroom. I look in the mirror and saw two holes in my neck. There was no blood. It was just bruised. I quickly put makeup on over it. He bit me. Why? How did he get in? Why were his teeth so sharp? Then it hit me. My eyes widened. Oh. My. God. He.... His teeth were sharp. He drank my blood. He..... fed on me. My eyes starting tearing up. I started breathing uncontrollably. I was having a panic attack. I sat on my bed and calmed myself down. Damon. He was a vampire. Oh my god! Stefan. Elena. NO. I already lost my parents. As much as I hate Elena, I can't lose her too. I reached for my phone but stopped when I saw her diary beside my bed. It has a piece of paper in it. I grabbed it and looked at the pages. I was starting to have a panic attack again. When I was done I threw the diary across the room and cried.

{1 hour later}
I walked downstairs to the kitchen. I had bags under my eyes and I looked pale. Jenna and Jeremy were in the kitchen. I smiled at them and they smiled back. I saw Elena and stopped smiling. I put my head down and made my way to the fridge. I opened it but there was nothing interesting to eat. I closed it and was about to walk out of the kitchen.

"What's up with you?" Jeremy asked.

"Nothing." I kept looked straight and started walking.

"Are you sure?" Jenna asked.

"I'm fine." But my voice cracked as I said it.

"Are you ok?" She asked.

"I'm fine!" I yelled. Elena laughed.

"Awww is the baby feeling sad? Well I don't buy it." She said.

"Shut up." I snapped. Jeremy stood there smiling. He knew what was going to happen.

"Guys not now please." Jenna said.

"You are an Insensitive bitch who doesn't care about anyone but herself." She snapped.

"Elena!" Jenna yelled.

"You are incapable of feeling any type of emotion." She said smiling.

"Elena. Stop it. Your grounded for another week." Jenna said. Elena opened her mouth to say something but Jenna stopped her. She reached out to grab my hand but I ran up the stairs. I was crying. Again. Why? Why is this happening? Why is this happening to me? I heard the sound of my door opening. I lifted my head and saw Jenna.

"Go away." I said.

"Bri I am so so sorry. You shouldn't be treated like this. It's not fair." She said.

"Please. Just go" I said again.

"Ok."

Jenna's POV

I was about to leave but I saw Elena's diary on the floor. I looked at Bri then back at the book. I picked it up and left the room, closing the door. I opened it. I was shocked.

Elena's POV

I heard loud footsteps coming down the stairs. I thought it was Bri. But then I saw Jenna coming. She looked furious. What happened to Bri? Is she really that pathetic?

"What happened?" Jeremy asked. He sounded worried.

"Elena I changed my mind. Your grounded for 2 more weeks." Jenna said.

"WHAT???" I yelled. "ALL I DID WAS CALL HER AN INSENSITIVE BITCH AND SHE DOESN'T FEEL ANY EMOTIONS!"

"I went up to check on her and saw this laying in the floor!" She held up my diary.

"My diary? THAT BITCH!"

"Don't you dare talk about her like that. Not after what you did." Jenna said. She meant it.

"Oh please. I've said meaner things." I said trying to grab my diary.

She pulled it away. "Oh yeah she's crying because of what you said but that's not all." She said. I looked at her confused. "There is a section in here that says something about her and your parents." She looked at me then looked at the book. My eyes widened. She read it???

"It says something about you BLAMING her for your parents death. That she got more attention than you. And that she was insensitive and rude for not coming to their service." I looked down.

"Oh my god. That's why she was so miserable this morning." Jeremy said. He sped for her room. Jenna stopped him.

"She needs her space." Jenna said. "You two go get ready. Tonight is the night of the comet."

"Ok" Jeremy said. I didn't say anything and I just walked away but Jenna stopped me too.

"Where do you think your going?" Jenna asked me.

"Um to the comet?"

"Your grounded. Did you forget already? Oh, well I guess I'll just have to remind you everyday for the next 4 weeks."

My face turned from ashamed to angry.

"Don't punish her." Someone said. We turned around.

Brianna's POV

They stared at me like I was crazy.

"What?? Why??" Elena asked.

"Yeah why?" Jenna repeated.

"Because it's not fair to her." I said. "She should get to go to the comet and hang out with her friends. It would keep us apart too."

Jenna looked from me to Elena. Elena smiled a bit and I smiled back.

"If that's ok with you." Jenna said looking at me. I nodded. I was still pissed and upset. But it would be better if we were apart from each other.

"Thank you!" Elena said and basically skipped out of the room.
