I woke up to Elena and Jeremy talking in the bathroom
"Hey! Could you keep it down in there! Some of us are trying to sleep!" I yelled.
"Addy you do know that it's 9 0'clock right?" Elena said with a hint of annoyance- no actually a lot of annoyance in her voice.
"What?? No!" I checked my clock. It said 9:03 am. "Oh my god!" I slept through my alarm. Again! I rolled over, falling onto the floor. I groaned. "Ow".
"Hurry! Bonnie is picking us up soon!" Elena said.
"I'll be down in a minute!" I put on skinny jeans and a light gray sweater with a white tank top underneath.

I grabbed my bag and went downstairs.
"Toast! I can make toast!" Jenna said sounding a little panicked.
"It's all about the coffee Jenna" Elena said while getting some coffee.
I walked over to the island and grabbed an apple. My eating habits have been all over the place since my parents died. And my sleeping schedule has been even worse.
"Is there coffee?" Jeremy asked when he walked in.
"Your first day of school and I am totally unprepared. Lunch money?"
"I'm good" Elena said. Jeremy takes it.
"Anything else? A number 2 pencil? What am I missing?"
"Don't you have a big presentation today?"
"I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at... now. Crap!"
"Then go. We'll be fine!" I said. She smiles at me and leaves.
Elena looks at Jeremy. "Are you ok?"
"Don't start" He says.
"I got it" I said following him to the stairs. "Hey you wait."
"What do you want."
"I wanted to tell you-"
"You wanted to give me another lecture? Yeah I'm good thanks."
"What? No. Elena is the sappy one" I said laughing.
"So?"
"So as much as the prissy princess deserves it, stop being a dickhead."
"And?" He was trying to get me to say that I cared for him and I wanted to help him.
"Look, Elena cares about you and hates seeing you like this. So to stop me from screaming at her to suck it up, I need you to not act like a 12 year old. Got it?"
He smiles. "Got it." Then he went back upstairs to get his stuff.
There is a knock at the door. "Elena? Can you get it? I forgot something upstairs!"
"Yep I got it!"
Elena's POV
I opened the door and it was Bonnie.
"Hey!" She said.
"Hey."
"Are you guys ready?"
"Yep!" I grabbed my bag and walked out the door but Bonnie stopped me.
"What about Brianna?"
"She can walk!"
"Elena. I have no idea why you hate her so much but this is the 5th time you've done this. Jenna said she will ground Brianna if she is late one more time."
"Not really my problem"
"Elena I'm sorry to say this but it kind of is. I mean your the one who won't take her to school with us."
"Well I guess she is getting grounded!"
"But-"
I cut her off. "Now let's go before we're late"
Brianna's POV.
I went downstairs but no one was there. "Um hello?" Then I realized what happened. "Oh come on! Again???" I picked up my bag and started walking to school.
