Chapter 19

When we got to the grill the place was full! And when I say full I mean FULL. Like there was no space between anyone. Stefan walked over to some blonde I have never seen before. I'm assuming that's his friend. I was about to walk over to the bar she Stefan waved at me (gesturing for me to come over). I walked over to them and said Hi. 

???: Hi! I'm Lexi!

Me(Bri): Oh hi. I'm Brianna. 

We just stood there in silence for while. I'm not always the best at talking to people. I decided I was thirsty 

Me(Bri): OK! I am going to go get a drink!

Stefan: oh um OK. Led you want to go play pool? 

She laughed. 

Lexi: Sure! But be prepared to lose! 

I smiled and walk to the bar. I didn't see the bartender anywhere so I leaned over the counter and grabbed the bottle of Bourbon. It hasn't been opened yet. Perfect! I opened the bottle and was about to take a drink, until someone grabbed it from me. 

Me(Bri): Hey! Give that back!

Damon: Well, 1, you're underage and 2 I feel like having a drink.

Me(Bri): 1, I don't care and 2, you couldn't have just gone just gone and gotten it yourself? Come on. You're a big boy! Or do you still need mommy to pick you up and over the counter? 

He glared at me.

Damon: Well you already have what I wanted, so come over here and take it from and underage, bitchy 17 year old? Why waste all that time and walking over to the bar and come all the way back? 

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. I tried to walk away but he stood in front of me and held me in place.

Me(Bri): What?

Damon: I'm sorry.

I checked his face for any signs of sarcasm, his face was serious. So was mine... for a minute. Then I burst out laughing. He furrowed his brows in confustion. 

Me(Bri): I-Im sorry. I just- I just, I never thought you, you of all people would EVER in you entire life EVER apologize for anything in your entire life! *Then I stopped laughing and looked him in the eye* You're gonna have to try  a lot harder than that!

He grabbed my wrist and started pulling me towards the door, but he , almost immediately, stopped causing my drink to spill all over my sweater.

Me(Bri): ARE YOU KIDDING?!?! I LOVED THIS OUTIFT!! ASS!!!!

He ignored me and walked over to Elena. Of course. I went to the bathroom and tried to clean off the stain on my dress. 

Me(Bri): UGHHHH! COME OFF!

I eventually gave up and when I walked out of the bathroom, Elena was with Stefan at the pool table, Lexi was with Damon at the bar and there were police blocking the doors. Sheriff Forbes was at the door with a girl. As soon as Damon saw me, he rushed over to me.

Damon: Hey listen to me. I need you to leave ok?

Me(Bri): What? No! Why?

Damon: Something is about to happen. It's going to be dangerous and I don't want you involved in it. Ok?

Me(Bri): Ok, you do not get to tell me what to do! Also, what is going to happen?

I saw the police walk up to Lexi and carry her out, she looked very drunk.

Damon: Just go! *He raised his voice which made me jump* I don't want you getting hurt.

I nodded and left the grill. When I walked out, I saw 2 police cars, and 2 police officers carrying Lexi, along with Sheriff Forbes leading. I was about to stop them but Lexi was ready throwing them around. I gasped when the Sheriff shot Lexi over and over again. Lexi was about to hurt her when Damon came out of nowhere and staked Lexi, right in the heart. Her body dessicated and she fell to the floor. I heard her say one thing before she died. "Why?"
