My Type || A Taehyung Fanfiction

First kiss

"'Kay, we're here," Taehyung said, pulling up into an empty parking spot.
"Great. Where should we go first?" Jennie asked, pulling out her phone.
"I don't really know. I guess we can walk around until we find a store that looks cool," Responded Minjiu.
The mall inside was fairly empty. It was pretty surprising for a Saturday afternoon.
"Hey, let's go to Forever21. Some clothes in here are pretty cute," Jennie said, leading the other two into the big outlet store. Jennie immediately made a beeline to the back to look at shirts and other random things in the store. Minjiu slowly walked around with Taehyung.
"I'm not really feeling anything in here. But if Jennie wants to look around in here, we might as well let her," Minjiu said while picking up a shirt with a bag of hot Cheetos designed on the front.
After a couple minutes, Jennie finally left Forever21 empty handed.
"Nothing was too cute today. Sad. Anyways where do you guys wanna go?" Jennie asked.
"There's a new store over here. I saw that people got some pretty cute clothes here on Instagram." They walked into the store. Minjiu slowly looked around before spotting a cute white crop top with puffy see-through long sleeves.
"Oh my god, Jennie! Look at this shirt!" Jennie came running over and gasped when she saw the shirt.
"This would look breathtaking on you. Taehyung, what do you think?" Jennie asked, turning around to look Taehyung. He slowly walked over to get a better look at the shirt.
"It'd look good. It'd fit really well around your chest area." The girls stayed silent. "What? You guys asked if I thought it'd look good on Minjiu. I responded." Jennie and Minjiu slowly shook their heads.
"Anyways, we're gonna go pay for this. Go find a bench to sit at, we'll meet you there is a second, " Jennie said while grabbing the shirt in her hand. They walked up to the cashier and put the shirt on the counter.
"Is this all for today?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Ok... That'll be $45."
"Oh wow... A bit on the pricey side. That's fine," Minjiu said, handing the lady her card.
"Okay, here you guys go. You have a good day, okay?" The girls thanked them and left the store.
"Ooo! Look, a smoothie bar! I'm gonna go get a smoothie. Want one?" Jennie asked, pointing to the smoothie bar that was up ahead.
"Sure! Get me a pineapple one. I'm gonna go find Taehyung, okay?" Minjiu walked away, looking to find Taehyung. She saw Taehyung up ahead talking to some people. Oh, they must be friends, she thought to herself.
"Hey Taehyung... Who are-"
"Is this your girlfriend? You know she's just gonna leave you again. Just like all the other ones did, " One of the guys said, snickering to his other friend.
"Oh no, actually I'm not-" Before Minjiu could tell them the truth, Taehyung quickly got up and pressed his warm lips onto Minjiu's. She dropped the bag in her hand. Minjiu stood there, frozen in shock. Finally, he backed away.
"Leave us alone," Taehyung said, grabbing Minjiu by her waist.
"Let me hear if from your 'girlfriend,'" Snickered one of the guys, looking straight at Minjiu.
"Get the fuck away from us." The two men looked at each other in shock before finally walking away. Taehyung held onto Minjiu's waist for a few more seconds before sitting on the bench.
"Who were they?" Minjiu asked, taking a seat next to Taehyung. Taehyung sighed.
"They were people I knew throughout middle school and high school. They knew about my dad dying and how... Insane, it made me."
"Oh. But why did you-"
"I kissed you because they would've still thought I was just an insane loner who would never get girlfriend again if I didn't."
"Oh," Minjiu replied, looking out into distance. Up ahead she saw Jennie with two smoothies in her hand.
"Oh, hey, Jennie brought my smoothie," Minjiu said, jumping up from the bench.
"Hey hey! What did I miss?" Jennie said, handing her smoothie to Minjiu. She inspected both Taehyungs and Minjiu's face for a second.
"Why are your faces so red? And Taehyung, why does it look like your wearing lipstick? Wait... Please don't tell me you guys kissed."
Minjiu and Taehyung stayed silent.
"What the heck? I was gone for five minutes and I missed Minjiu's first kiss? Bummer!"
"First kiss?" Taehyung said, whipping his head around towards Minjiu. Minjiu's face turned even redder.
"Don't ask," She replied, taking a sip of her smoothie.
"But seriously, what's going on? Are you guys dating or something?"
"No, it's... We're not dating, first of all. And second of all, the kiss meant nothing. Look, it's a long story," Taehyung said.
"Then tell me it. I have time." And so Taehyung told her.
"Wow. That's horrible. But I have a question to ask Minjiu."
"Hm?"
"Is Taehyung a good kisser? And what about you, Taehyung? Is Minjiu a good kisser? "
Minjiu just about fainted at the question.
"I'm not answering that," Minjiu said, crossing her arms.
"Same here."
"Fine. I'll just get Minjiu to tell me in secret later," Jennie scoffed. Embarrassed, Minjiu kicked Jennie in the shin.
"I'm kind of hungry. What about you guys?"
"I am too. Let's just go to a few more places, then we can go home and order something," Minjiu said, picking the bag up from the floor.

At home, Minjiu, Jennie, and Taehyung all sat in a circle on the floor on Minjiu's bedroom.
"Okay. Taehyung, you wanted Panda Express. Jennie, you want Korean barbecue. I'm gonna shuffle these 2 cards up and whatever is chosen, I'll order." Minjiu shuffled the 2 cards for a couple of seconds before finally picking one up.
"Ok, we're getting... Korean barbecue!" Jennie threw her hands up in the air and gave Minjiu a hug. Taehyung grabbed the card out of Minjiu's hand and ripped it up.
"I'll order it right now." Jennie pulled out her phone and sighed.
"What's wrong, Jen? " Taehyung asked.
"I wanna play truth or dare. Or- Ooo! Even better, 7 minutes in heaven!"
"Yeah... That sounds fun. But we don't have enough players," Minjiu responded.
"Right now. If we each invite some of out friends from school, then we can play! I'll text Jisoo."
"Sounds fine to me. I'll call Jungkook and Jimin. Minjiu, what about you?" Taehyung asked, pulling out his phone.
"Oh, I don't know. Uh... I guess I'll text Yeojin." They all texted who they wanted to come over.
"Okay, they'll be over in an hour. Minjiu, order 4 more things of food. Taehyung will pay."
"What? Why me?"
"You kissed Minjiu without her consent today. That's technically illegal." Taehyung slowly pulled out his wallet from his back pocket.

"Jisoo! Yeojin! Welcome!" Jennie and Minjiu ran up to the girls and wrapped them into a hug.
"Jungkook and Jimin said they'd be here in a couple minutes. Their a little dumb." Jennie had made a circle in the living room with pillows. They each took a seat, leaving two open for Jungkook and Jimin. They waited a few minutes before they heard a knock at the door.
"I'll get it," Taehyung said, getting up from the floor.
"Taehyung!"
"Jungkook! Jimin! What's up man? Come in."! Jungkook and Jimin walked in and into the living room. They sat on the two remaining pillows on the floor.
"Okay, for anyone who hasn't played, basically one person randomly picks two people. Those two people go into a room together for 7 minutes and they can do whatever they want. Expect since I don't wanna wait all night, we're only gonna do 2 minutes." Jennie sat back down after making the announcement.
"Okay... Well, who's going first?" Yeojin asked.
"Well, we should let Minjiu pick since its her house."
"Thanks, guys. Hmm... Let's see... I pick Jungkook and Jisoo!" They smiled at each other before walking into the near by closet. Everyone stayed silent so they could hear what was going happen.
"So... What are some things you like to in your free time?"
Taehyung sighed.
"Jungkook being the nice guy that he is."
"Well... I practice on my acting sometimes. I also sing here and there."
"Really? I sing too. That's pretty cool!"
"And... Time is up! Jungkook and Jisoo, you guys can come out now." Jisoo happily hopped over back to her seat on the floor.
A few more players went and did the same thing; either ask what the other one does in the free time, or ask a more personality based question, like how they would react in a certain situation.
"Okay, now let's actually spice things up. Since it's my turn, I choose Minjiu and Taehyung," Jennie said, pointing at the two. Taehyung looked at Minjiu before getting up and walking into the closest. Minjiu followed. She shut the door behind her. They sat on the floor and looked at each other. They were silent. Outside, laughs filled the room.
"... Would you kiss me again?" Taehyung asked.
Everyone in the whole house became silent.
"I... I mean, yeah, I guess so."
"Then do it." Minjiu sat in shock.
"I don't know Taehyung... I just-"
"Okay."
"...Okay what?"
"You don't have to kiss me. Besides our time is up." Taehyung got up and walked out of the closet. Minjiu sat there for a few seconds longer before getting up and following Taehyung. Everyone in the living room was shocked as the the two walked out. Minjiu took a seat on the floor. Taehyung sat on the couch.
"I think that concludes our game for tonight... Thank you guys for coming, I hope you enjoyed the food! " Everyone thanked each other before walking out. Jennie closed the door as the very last person walked out. She walked over and sat on the couch in silence.

(This is literally my longest chapter ever. I know there's a lot of typos, I didn't care to fix them since it's already 12:34 in the morning. P.S. stream dynamite by bts!!)
