"Hey, you're back!"
"Yeah, sorry. I wasn't feeling good, haha. But now I'm feeling better," Jennie said, taking a seat in the soft grass next to Minjiu.
"Did you see that guy? Here, I'm gonna go check and see if he's still there." Minjiu stood up.
"Wait, Minjiu, no!" Jennie tried to grab Minjiu's hand as she walked away but failed. Jennie covered her face; she knew what was about to come. She watched Minjiu walk around the side of the fountain, then walk back.
"I guess he's gone. But I saw a man that kind of looked like Taehyung. What a coincidence, right?" Minjiu said, taking a seat on the grass.
"Hmm... That is weird. Anyways, are you over the whole situation from today?"
"I feel like something got into Taehyung. I don't think he really wanted to do what he did. Whatever it was, it still shocks me. It hurts." Minjiu looked down at her phone. "I want to text him... But I shouldn't. I should let him cool down, right?" Jennie sadly blinked tears away from her eyes. She felt horrible for keeping what Taehyung said about her a secret.
"Yup. Let him cool down," Croaked Jennie as she looked away. That night, Minjiu blankly sat in her room. It wasn't the same. She wasn't hearing words like, "Come on! Push through the pain!" Or, "Come on, fatty! Get down and then come up!" Phrases that were already embedded in her brain from the past couple of days.
"He told me that I need to work out four times a week... If he's not going to be here, I'll do it myself." She scrolled through her text messages and got to the workout plan.
Taehyungs Focus
"Why did I do that, why?" He sat in his room pounding his fist on his bed. He wiped his face and looked over at his phone.
"Let her process everything first."
"I can't. I have to text her." He picked up his phone, but instead of unlocking it, he just stared at the blank screen. He dropped his phone and sighed. I don't even like her. Why am I thinking about this?
Minjiu's Focus
Minjiu tiredly fell on the floor in pain. Although Taehyung wasn't there, she felt as though he was watching her somewhere. She wiped the sweat off her forehead and climbed up on her bed. She opened up Instagram and saw she had a message. It was a spam message. She sighed. But something was off; Taehyungs message was gone. Hm? What happened to the message? She tried to look up his profile, but it said that it wasn't found. He probably blocked me. It's for the better."Honey, you haven't hung out with Taehyung in a while. It's been two weeks since you last hung out with him. Is something going on?" Minjiu's mom asked, walking out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee.
"No... I guess we just haven't had time. But I've been working out a lot lately. Have you noticed?" Minjiu said, pulling her sweatshirt up. Her mom looked pleasantly surprised.
"What's gotten into you? Your finally losing weight, and you've cut out sweets. Trying to look good for someone?" She said, laughing as she took a sip of her coffee. Minjiu paused. She never really thought of what to tell her mom when she'd ask a question like this.
"Well... I.. I read online that your more likely to get into a good college in South Korea if your healthy. So I decided that I want to focus on my higher education and start losing weight," Minjiu nervously said.
"You've become such a good child. I'm proud of you, minjiu. I already know your going to do good in your life." Her mom smiled. Minjiu thanked her as she walked back upstairs into her room. She pulled out her phone and went to her contacts. She clicked on Taehyungs.
"Hey."

Minjiu sighed. I guess he doesn't wanna talk. She set her phone down. She was about to walk out of her room when she got a notification on her phone.
It was from Taehyung.
"Meet me at the park right now."
Minjiu looked at the message in confusion. Why right now? She got dressed in a cute outfit and headed down stairs.
"Hey, mom. I'm going to the park. I'll probably be back soon." She quickly walked out of the house and down the road to the local park.
"He never said where to go... But I'm going to guess that it's the same bench me and Jennie were at a while ago." She walked over to the bench that was by the fountain, and sure enough, Taehyung was sitting there. And right next to him was a small little black bag.
"Hey. What's up?" Minjiu asked, sitting down on the bench.
"Have you been exercising?" Minjiu was a little bit shocked at that. I was expecting a 'I'm sorry' but okay...
"Actually, yeah! Look!" She lifted her shirt up and immediately pulled it down. "Sorry. I just got a little excited."
"It's fine. Look, I want to talk about what happened a few weeks ago. When I found out that someone took pictures of us in the mall, I got nervous that people would think we were dating or something stupid like that. I had to think of something that would distract the students and make them think I still hate you."
Minjiu stayed silent.
"I'm just... I'm sorry. Immediately after that, I was going to text you, but I didn't know what to say, so instead I got you-"
"Is this for me?" Asked Minjiu, holding the perfume in her hand. Taehyung stayed silent for a moment.
"Yes."
Minjiu looked at the bottle before looking back up at Taehyung.
"Thank you." Taehyung looked away, clearly embarrassed. "I'm serious. Thank you. I'm surprised that you actually remembered the name of the perfume, though, haha." Taehyung looked back at Minjiu.
"I'm glad that your losing weight. Not because of me or what other people are saying, but because you want too."
"Well, if I had the choice three weeks ago, I wouldn't have tried to lose weight. You kind of encouraged me... It was good to have someone there that was gonna push me farther than ever. I feel good. I feel... How do you say it? 'Pretty?'" Taehyung laughed a little bit.
"And I'm glad you feel that way."
