"Before I tell you what's happening... I just want to say that I love you," Minjiu whispered, hiding her face in Taehyungs side.
"I love you more than anything, Minjiu. Calm down, it's going to be okay." Minjiu looked over in the distance. She saw Jennie running towards them.
"What's going on? Minjiu, are you hurt?" She took a seat on the bench. Minjiu immediately threw her arms around Jennie.
"My mom says we're moving to Itaewon," Minjiu said quietly, "I don't want to leave you guys." Jennie lifted Minjiu's chin.
"No... No, no... Why? Are you in trouble?" Jennie asked, hugging onto Minjiu even harder. Minjiu sat in Jennie arms and told both of them what had happened at home. Jennie wiped away tears from her own face.
"Minjiu... I don't know if you remember this or not. But back in 5th grade, you told me that we we're going to move in with each other and go to a good college. We were going to have 7 dogs and order take out every night," Jennie said, sniffling in between each word.
"Hm? Oh yeah, I remember. But why are you telling me this?"
"Well... If you do move, I want you to remember that story and that one day it's going to happen!" Jennie said, laughing through her tears. Minjiu laughed with her.
"Minjiu, I know we started off rough. But I can't let you leave like this. Hell, I'm not supposed to be out here. I'm supposed to be in that hospital doing rehab. I snuck out for you. I'm not just going to let you leave me so easily," Taehyung said.
"Go talk to him. We made our plans. I'll stay right here until you want to leave," Jennie whispered, releasing her arms from around Minjiu. Minjiu scooted back over to Taehyung. She rested her head on his shoulder.
"I love you, Taehyung. If I could go back in time to when we played 2 minutes and heaven and you told me to kiss you, I would've done it. I just-" Taehyung grabbed Minjiu's chin and pulled it towards his face. He kissed Minjiu's lips softly.
"If this is the last time I ever see you, I don't want to spend it stressing about what we did or didn't do in the past. Let's focus on the now. I saw what happened to Yoongi. You helped me out."
"But I didn't do good enough. Because of me, both you and Jennie got hurt. You don't understand," Minjiu said. She wrapped her arms around Taehyung before beginning to bawl her eyes out one more time.
"Minjiu? Oh my god, I looked everywhere for you! Why weren't you answering your-" Her mom stopped once she finally came close enough to see Minjiu in the street light. Minjiu ignored her mom and held on to Taehyung even tighter. Taehyung removed her arms from around his waist. Minjiu looked up at him.
"Minjiu, you know that I love you more than anything in this world. But we can't sit here any cry all night. You are going to do amazing things without me. Although I'm going to miss you more than anything, we have to let each other go. Now, please go with your mom." He let go of Minjiu's hands.
"No... No... Taehyung no!" Minjiu tried to grab Taehyung, but was pulled away by her mom and Jennie.
"PLEASE! TAEHYUNG PLEASE DON'T GO!" Minjiu screams echoed throughout the park. Taehyung held back tears as he watched Minjiu get pulled away. The park became silent once Minjiu left. Taehyung sat on the bench in the darkness.
"Don't be gone for too long."
