Chapter 5: Butterfly Estate

After traveling for hours, Giyuu makes it to the Butterfly Estate, walks in, and looks around when someone walks up behind him and asks, "May I help you sir?"

Giyuu turns around causing the woman to step back in shock when she sees Giyuu's eyes. "Yes ma'am I'm looking for a woman named Shinobu? My mom wanted me to give this letter to her. Do you know where she is? And are you ok, You jumped back like I scared you?"

The woman regains her foot, "Sorry! Your eyes look the same as a dead friend of mine. Shinobu is in her office! Go up those stairs and go straight. Her office is the last room on the right. For future reference my name is Aoi!"

"OK! Thanks Aoi! I hope to see you again!" Giyuu smiles and walks to Shinobu's office and knocks on the door!

"Come in." Shinobu says in a somewhat sickly voice.

Giyuu walks in and sees a short woman sitting behind the desk, "Hello my name is Giyuu and my mom told me to give you this letter." Giyuu hands her the letter.

Shinobu smiles and takes the letter, "Thank you! Funny enough my husband's name is Giyuu."

"My mom did say she named me after one of her friends from the corp." Giyuu replies.

"Then it must be a different Giyuu! Mine doesn't have any friends." She replies with a smile. "I will look at the letter later. I have important business to do but I promise I'll get to it later today."

"Thanks Ma'am! I'm about to go on my first mission. Any advisive?" Giyuu askes.

"Be fast, go for the neck, and show no mercy!" Shinobu answers.

"OK! Thank you!" Giyuu gets up and walks to the door.

"Also your eye's look like my sister's eyes." Shinobu says.

"The maid Aoi told me that when I walked in." Giyuu responds.

"Speaking of Aoi she should be making onigiri right now. Stop by the kitchen, ask her for one, then take a few minutes to rest before heading out!" Shinobu says.

"Ok!" Giyuu smiles, "I think I will do that! Thanks Ma'am!" Giyuu walks out, shuts the door, and Shinobu resumes her work.

After two hours Shinobu finishes her work and comes to the letter, "Lets see what his sweet mother wants? I wonder who she is?" Shinobu opens it, sees who wrote it, reads the full letter, and sees a picture and Kanae, Douma, and Giyuu standing together smiling. After reading and seeing everything Shinobu quickly breaks down into tears.

While Shinobu cried Tomioka Giyuu rushed in to comfort her, "What's the matter Luv? Why are you crying?"

"Kanae is alive! Upper Moon 2 is holding her captive, he's forcing her to essentially play house with him for over 17 years, and they had a child together." Shinobu says through sobs.

"WHAT? A child? Where's he?" Giyuu asks, confused.

"He was here earlier, he's apparently a Demon Slayer now! Kanae named him after you." Shinobu said.

"The guy named Giyuu? He seemed really nice though! How could he be raised by an Upper Moon?" questioned Giyuu.

"I'm not sure he knows of his parentage and with how he talked he didn't know Kanae was a pillar." Shinobu Responds.

"Did she give an address?" Giyuu askes.

Shinobu nods yes.

"Alright! I convince some of the pillars to come with me along with some of the old ones! If we're lucky she knows information about the Upper Moons they can use to find and defeat them." Giyuu explains. "I'll make sure she comes back alive!"

"Thanks Giyuu!" Shinobu hugs.

Giyuu hugs back, "You're Welcome Luv!" Giyuu then kisses her, "I'll go now!" Giyuu pulls out of the hug and rushes off to gather a team.

Shinobu smiles, "If anyone can save my sister it's him!" She goes back to her desk and looks at the picture of Kanae and her demon family, "You'll be safe soon Sis! Giyuu is coming to get you!"
