Jordan POV
It's been days since we have called for Cianite's presence, and Erin's pulse gets weaker with every passing day. If it weakens at this rate, she will be dead tomorrow.
"No. Bad Jordan. Don't think that way." I told myself.
"Hey Jordan, you might want to come up here," Tucker called from the main room upstairs.
"Yeah sure, be there in a second." I said half-heartedly. Giving Erin a quick kiss on the forehead, I trudged up the stairs, hoping for good news.
"Now what is it," I said.
"Good news or bad news?" Sonja asked.
"Good news. I could use some." I said solemnly.
"Cianite's close."
"Good. The sooner the better. At this rate Erin dies tomorrow."
"The bad news is that he will arrive in Aethoria."
"And where is that?"
"Aethoria has no exact location. It is a floating island in the void. It is also the birthplace of the gods, and where we have the most power," Ianite said as she walked into the room.
Ignoring the obvious "how did you get here question", I asked, "how do we get there?"
She looked at me with her glowing purple eyes, "I have asked the wizards to build a portal for our journey. It will be ready in 2 hours. Which leaves us less than 20 hours to save her."
I sighed. 2 hours of waiting before I can do anything to save my love's life.
"Go pack," Ianite commanded, "for you may never see this land again."
2 hours later
Wow. That's a big portal.
"Well? Shall we?" Mianite asked.
We all nodded, and stepped through the portal.
A/n: the next chapter May or may not be the final chapter, depending if I split it or not.
