Episode Three: Trust

Katashi

After a long night of rest I decided against myself to leave, if I did, he would probably find me. He knows well enough to know that I wouldn't go to a village, I am safe here.

"Hey." I turned to see kakashi perched on the
Window seal. "What are you doing?" I asked confused. "Just checking up on you, Iruka told me what happened at the academy." Kakashi tells me.

"What did he tell you?"
"Enough." He spoke in a monotone voice.

After a short pause I spoke. "Can I trust you?" Kakashi gave me a confused look. "I haven't been able to trust lately..and I desperately need someone to talk to."

"Sure."

"Two years ago I started..unknowingly, doing bad things. In the hidden mist village I was accompanied by two others. They were the ones that got started into bad things..which I finding really hard to talk about."

"Sometimes when I think about what I've done, I feel this guilt inside of me..which causes me to kind of..space out."

"Who were you accompanied by?" Kakashi asked me. "Well, let's just say...that one of them is one of the seven swords men." I answer him again.

Kakashi gives me a surprised look, but it quickly goes back to normal.

"How about you give the academy another try?" He suggested. "Finals are coming up and it probably be best if you past to become genin."

"I guess your right, where's the academy? It took me forever to find it yesterday." I said sheepishly. "I'll walk you there." Kakashi sighed.

It had only been a few minuets of walking before I finally broke the silence. "School hasn't started yet has it?" I asked.

"I don't think so why?"
"Well, I know you talk to your fallen comrades sometimes, and that's why your late to things." I say without thinking.

"Katashi, you don't know anything about me, how did you know that?" Kakashi says seriously.

I stopped and looked at him realizing what I had just said. "I..I don't know how I know, I guess I just..know?" I said unsurely.

"Katashi that's not an answer, how did you know that?" He said even more seriously. "I don't remember, I just know." I answered truthfully.

"Come on, academy's this way." He changes the subject and continues to walk. As soon as we got there kakashi took off without saying a word. I'm guessing I was early because as I walked down the hall it was quieter than yesterday.

I entered the room, just as I suspected, no one was here yet. I went straight to the desk I sat at yesterday. As I waited I started reading the names carved in the desk...Asuma..Rin..Minato..Orochimaru..wait, Orochimaru?...his name..its familiar..This man is dangerous for you, run away from Orochimaru..where did that thought come from?

Iruka entered the room, when he got to his desk he finally noticed me."Katashi?"

I stood up a little too quickly."Sorry about yesterday Iruka Sensei. It won't happen again." I apologized.

"It's fine Katashi." He said with a small smile.
A bell rang and the room was suddenly flooded with the other students. I folded my arms on the desk and rested my head down trying not to be noticed.
