Kakashi

As soon as I heard the menacing scream of katashi's voice, I took off into the forest. I sensed a dark chakra, I haven't felt anything like that in sometime, The faster I ran, the more I could sense it.

I came to a halt, skidding up mud in the process, I spotted someone unconscious on the wet grass, It was Katashi, as I approached him I noticed he had heavy breaths, my eyes were fixated to his right wrist. It was covered in small purple bruises.

I gently turned his arm over to examine the other side of his wrist, I saw a mark, not just any mark, the curse mark. Why does he have it? Why didn't he mention this? This explains the chakra, but how? I'm so confused.

I could sense the chakra slowly growing weaker. I crouched down by the fallen boy, I never took the time to notice how much he looked like his parents. I remember that one day, as if it were yesterday, the day he was born, Minato and Kushina were so happy.

It was March 3rd, today Minato sensei's son would be born. I dressed in my Anbu clothes. when I stepped outside the door to my house, I was hit by a cold gust of wind. I rested my hands in my pants pockets as I walked to meet Rin, and Obito.

As I was approaching my comrades, I could feel sadness flow throughout me. I stood at their graves. "This is actually top secret information, but.. Minato sensei's son will be born soon." I took a deep breath. "A generation that doesn't know war, if only we'd been born later too.." I said sadly.

I headed off to the secret area in which the child would be born. I was greeted by Minato sensei. "There you are Kakashi." He said with a smile.
"The doctor says Kushina will give birth at any moment now, I need to go to your patrol spot." He says.

"Yes Sensei." I'm now at the patrol spot, it's a matter of seconds before I hear yelling and Minato shouting his jutsu to restrain the nine tails within Kushina.
After five minuets everything goes quiet. That's the signal for me to go back.

"Minato Sensei." I say. Minato turns in my direction, he gestures me to come over. When I finally approach them I see him, their son. He has Kushina's grey like eyes and light strands of blond hair.

"What's his name?" I ask curiously. "It's Katashi." Kushina says happily sitting up on the table. Katashi. From this point on, I knew I'd probably be babysitting him a lot...

That next year on October 10nth, Kushina would give birth to another boy. Katashi was currently with Minato sensei's teacher, Jiraya. They were out of town visiting a small village, because no one would be able to watch him because of all the preparations for the new born, so he asked Jiraya for help.

Katashi has grown quite a bit, he can walk now and barely begin to pronounce letters. He's a very calm kid, he's softly spoken and quiet, his personality reminds me of Minato Sensei.

I heard screams out of nowhere as I was heading to my spot, I sensed a huge amount of chakra, I turned around and I saw the nine tails in the distance. What the? What happend? Why is it here! It should be sealed within Kushina. I ran to the scene to help when a shinobi told all younger ninjas to go, meaning I couldn't help.

Minato Sensei and Kushina died that night, leaving their newborn, Naruto and Katashi orphans. Before Minato passed, he sealed the nine tails within his new son. Jiraya took Katashi under his care, and Naruto was raised in the village. Neither of them knowing who their parents were or that they had a brother.

Katashi

I slowly lift my eyelids, then abruptly close them due to the bright light that had made its way into my eyes. I feel an aching pain in my head, and a soreness under the skin of my wrist.

I tried once again and opened my eyes, adjusting to the light. It was the sun shinning through an all too familiar open window. I sat up slowly, stretching my arms and yawning. I looked at my wrist, I touch one of the bruises with my other hand and immediately flinched at the pain.

I took a glance at my surroundings, realizing it's my home. I didn't leave? How did I get here? I try to think back to last night, the last thing I remember was feeling an unbearable pain in my wrist. Wait the note I left, Kakashi must've found it and came after me, and brought me here.

My nose was suddenly filled with the delightful essence of bacon. Bacon? I stood up from my bed and peeked through the half way open door. I saw Kakashi standing at the stove cooking.  He must've heard me because he slightly turned his head and looked at me with the corner of his visible eye.

"Morning." He said raising a hand, the other on the handle of a frying pan. I walked through the doorway and into the kitchen. "Kakashi, what are you doing? And why am I here too?" I asked raising an eyebrow. He turned back to the stove. "Well, obviously I'm cooking bacon, and don't you live here?" He said as if I asked a stupid question. "What?" "I needed to talk to you, and what would be better than talking over breakfast." He answers me.

I sat down at the end of the table, Kakashi placed a plate of bacon and eggs in front of me. He then sat down beside me. "You didn't make yourself anything?" I said as I picked up my fork. "I ate earlier."

"What did you want to talk about?" I say with a mouthful of bacon. "Last night." I noticed Something in his tone changed, he was more serious now. "I found you unconscious." "I think I was just overwhelmed or something." I said unsurely.

"I saw the mark on your wrist." He said with a hint of sympathy. "Is it bad?" I ask. "What?" He asked confused. "Is it bad? You seem to know what it is." I say. "You don't know?" "No, I've had this ever since I can remember, it just causes me pain when I worry too much."

"Okay, Katashi it's called a curse mark, only one man has been known to cast them upon people." Kakashi explains. "Who?" I ask curiously. "He was once a ninja that lived here, he even trained under the third hokage. But when his parents died he went rogue, and to this day is an enemy to the leaf village. His name is Orochimaru." Kakashi said.

As he said his name, I literally choked on my food. "Are you serious? Orochimaru?" I spat out bewildered. "You know him?" He asks quickly. "No, I don't, I just saw his name at the academy and I heard this voice then I had this dream." I say thinking about it.

"A dream?" Kakashi asked lifting an eyebrow. "Yes, the first ever like it. In this dream I was third person or something. I saw myself but I was younger, and a man with white skin and snake-like yellow eyes was there too. We were having a conversation but forgot the details, it was about some experiments or something, but my younger self called him Orochimaru." I say trying to remember.

"You must've known him." Kakashi suggests. "I don't know, I'm so unsure, everything about me is a mystery, and in this case it's not a good thing." I say finishing my meal.

"His name, it's just so familiar, and that dream, the man I saw, I don't know what it is, but I feel like I should know him, but I don't." I say confusing my self.

"And you Kakashi, you seemed slightly familiar to me, and when I said that thing about you talking to your comrades, I don't know, it's like I know you." I say confusing my self even more.

"It's no big deal." Kakashi says trying to keep me calm, but I can tell it is, he just doesn't want me to worry. "You should get back to the academy, and stop freaking yourself out, you just need to think about becoming genin and making friends, you shouldn't have to worry about all this."

"Yeah, your right." I agree. "And no more thoughts about leaving, I think it's best for you to stay here until we figure everything out." Kakashi makes me agree. "Okay."
