sunghoon's pained face, soon turned into a smile, "really?"
she nodded. it was unusual for sunghoon to hear the girl talk, but he liked her voice. it was nice and soft.
"will you be friends with me, y/n?" sunghoon asked.
she looked at him, wide eyes. no one really asked to be her friend, and that was partially the reason why she barely talked to people.
she smiled softly, "why not."
"finally," sunghoon did a celebratory dance in his seat, and the girl laughed.
she checked her watch, "i have to go, i will see you around, friend," she chuckled.
"what? so soon? let me walk you home," sunghoon said.
"i'm not going home," she told the boy, "i'm going to the skating rink."
sunghoon looked at her confused. y/n skates? how come he never heard about this till now?
"why do you look so surprised?" she asked him.
"i skate too, and i've never seen you at the skating rink," he answered her question.
"oh, well that's weird," she said, "would you like to skate with me?" she asked.
his smile grew big, "i'd love to. can we stop by my house that way i can get my stuff?"
she nodded.
as they were walking, they stopped. well, she stopped, not sunghoon.
y/n stared inside a restaurant, looking at a boy and girl.
"hey, i remember that boy, you were hugging him earlier," sunghoon pouted.
she continued looking at the pair, not paying attention to sunghoon talking to her.
sunghoon stared at her, and then back to the boy, "he's someone who means a lot to you, correct?"
she turned her head to sunghoon, smiling sadly, "yeah."
he put his arm around her shoulder, forcing her to walk, "come on, let's go skate."

y/n was tying her skates, still thinking about jungwon and that girl. that girl again? she thought he didn't talk to her anymore.
her thoughts came to a halt when sunghoon stood in front of her.
he held out his hand, "shall we skate?"
y/n swatted away his hand, "yeah."
the contact made sunghoon frown slightly.
the girl entered the rink, going into the center, and she started skating.
she made it look so easy. she was a natural. her hair flowed, and she made beautiful spins, even the way she glided on the ice made sunghoon's heart beat faster.
sunghoon couldn't help but smile.
not falling for this girl would definitely be a challenge.
