as y/n watched the snow fall on the ground, the smile on her face never fell.
it was christmas eve, and there was going to be a white christmas.
y/n loved the snow, it was pretty, and so fun to play with. she recalled playing in the snow with her dad when she was younger, making a snowman and snow angels with one another.
she heard the doorbell ring, making her way downstairs.
once the girl opened the door, she was greeted by sunghoon.
"what are you doing here?" she asked the boy, wondering why he wasn't with his family.
"well, hello to you too, little lady," he rolled his eyes, crossing his arms.
she moved to the side, "come in."
he turned to her, "i like your glasses, they look cute on you."
she pushed him, "why aren't you with your family?"
the boy sighed, "they're all too pre-occupied with my other relatives. i'd say there is probably about 60 people over right now."
y/n's eyes widened, "how many?" she questioned, not believing her ears.
sunghoon chuckled, embracing her, "i missed you."
the girl melted in his arms, returning the hug, "i did as well."
"christmas is tomorrow," he looked slightly down at her, "what did you get me?"
she flicked him on the head, "nothing."
sunghoon frowned slightly, hoping that the girl was lying.
y/n's mouth turned into a slight smile seeing him frown like that, "it's a joke."
he returned the smile, "well, i would just like to let you know, tomorrow you might just receive the best present of your life."
the girl rolled her eyes, "like i believe that."
he looked at her with disbelief, "you seriously don't think that your boyfriend won't get you the best present ever?"
she pointed over at the tree with the big present, "i think that present will be my best gift."
sunghoon scoffed, "sure."
the girl stood up from the couch, clapping her hands, "let's make hot cocoa!"
sunghoon smiled at her child-like behavior, y/n then grabbing his hand dragging him into the kitchen.
"christmas cookies too?" she asked him.
"i don't know about that-" he said before getting interrupted.
"please??" the girl pleaded, looking at him with puppy dog eyes.
he cupped her face, planting a soft kiss on her nose, "i could never say no to you."
her smile grew.

sunghoon was standing, drinking his hot chocolate, which was now cold, and watching his girlfriend make cookies.
the girl was sitting on the counter, mixing the cookie dough.
"done!" she exclaimed, looking at sunghoon, who was looking at her.
she laughed, "were you watching me?"
he nodded, smiling slightly.
"creep," she pushed him.
