"what?" she asked him, not hearing what he said.
"nothing, we should get out of this mud," he said trying to change the topic.
"i like it," she said, looking at the mud and playing with it.
sunghoon chuckled at her toddler like antics, "you're disgusting."
she put some mud on her finger, then moved her finger towards sunghoon's face, drawing a mustache.
he sighed, "gross."
"you're gross looking," she said, lying.
he laughed, "you're lying."
she grinned, "me, lying? i would never."
he leaned closer to her face, "so you're telling me that you've never found me attractive," he questioned.
she gulped, "i-i mean, you're not the worst looking," she blushed.
he kissed her cheek, "that's what i thought."
y/n's mouth hung agape, clearly shocked at the kiss on the cheek she just received from sunghoon.
he smiled at her shocked face.
he stood up and offered his hand to y/n, "we should probably go," he said, "it's late."
"true," she sighed and grabbed his hand, him pulling her up.
as they were walking, mud on their clothes, they received stares from people.
"i bet they think we shit our pants," y/n said, then laughing.
sunghoon laughed with her, "you're probably right."
they arrived at y/n's front door.
"thank you for tonight, sunghoon," she smiled, "i needed it."
he returned the smile she gave him, "of course, anything for you."
she blushed at his statement, "i-i should probably g-go," she stuttered.
he grinned at the girl who was struggling with her words.
"i'll see you at school tomorrow, text me if you need anything," he told her, "bye." he said before turning around and walking.
y/n was watching him walk away, but there was something she needed to do.
"sunghoon, wait!" she yelled, chasing after the boy.
"yeah?" he asked her.
she grabbed his face, turning his head to the side, that way she could give him a peck on his cheek.
"thank you for tonight, really," she told him once more, "goodnight," and she ran off into her home.
sunghoon stood there, holding his cheek, but then he smiled.
he was really falling in love with this girl.
