Babies

Nagising ako sa malakas na iyak ni Lia. Bago pa ako maka-bangon para patahanin siya ay tumahimik na ito. I looked beside me and didn't saw Nathan. I glanced at the wall clock and saw that it's 2 in the morning already.

"Don't cry, baby. Mommy's tired the whole day because of your upcoming christening, hmm?" He said while softly rocking our baby.

Lia stared at him for a few seconds and giggled. I took my phone and quitely took a picture of the two. Naka-ilang pictures na ako, pero di niya pa rin napapansin na gising ako. I chuckled in my mind. I went to my instagram and posted the best picture that I took a while ago.

I even took a video of them and posted it in my ig story. They look so cute! My baby girl was wearing a pink onesie and Nathan's just wearing a pajama with his slightly long messy black hair. Should tell him to go to the barber shop already?

I nodded mentally. I should.

My phone made a sound because of the notifications from my post. Dahil naka-tingin pa rin ako sa mag-ama ko ay kitang kita ko ang sabay na pag-baling nila saakin. Lia giggled louder when she saw me looking at them, Nathan walked on his side of the bed and kissed my temple. I set aside my phone.

"Good morning, baby..." He said with his bedroom voice.

"Good morning too." I smiled and looked.

"Di ko siya napatahan agad, sorry." He's looking at me with his sincere eyes.

My right hand went to his right left cheek and caressed it. "It's fine."

My phone beeped continuously and Lia finds it funny. She pointed my phone while blabbering words we can't understand. She's only 6 months old so, that's fine. Natatawang kinuha ko ito at binuksan. I let them watch me as I look at the notifications from my instagram.

dashquintero: Kaya ayoko mag-ka-anak eh. Mapupuyat ako kaka-alaga, mas maganda magpuyat dahil sa sex.

I saw Liyah replied to Rush.

Umirap ako sa comment nila, tumawa naman si Nathan at ang anak namin na para bang naiintindihan na ang i-cinomment ng mga magiging ninong at ninang niya. Bigla tuloy akong nag-dalawang isip kung gagawin ko pa ba silang ninong at ninang. Parang ayoko na, eh.

Pinindot pindot ni Lia ang screen ng phone ko na paulit ulit habang ang isang kamay ay naka-subo sa bunganga. Nakasandal na ako ngayon sa headboard ng kama namin habang ang anak ko ay nakatungo sa screen ng phone ko at nilalaro ito.

I could see her long and curly lashes that obviously, namana niya kay Nathan. I really envy their lashes. Tho she looks exactly like me, hair, eyes, lips, nose, everything! I think she got her father's attitude and of course, the lashes.

"You want to sleep between mommy and daddy, baby?" I asked using my sweet voice.

She stared me with her big brown eyes, iniisip siguro kung ano ang sinasabi ko. I giggled and kissed her pink chubby cheeks.

"How can you be so beautiful even tho you're tired the whole day?"

Napatingin naman ako kay Nathan at namula sa sinabi nito. How could this man make me blush with just those words? It was not even his intention to make me blush.
