Capitulo 23

Come home

"Nathan wanted to know where you are." Athena suddenly said.

Napatingin naman kaming mag-pinsan sakanya.

"But he'll let you have your own space. For now. He know how mad you are right now." She added.

Nanatili naman akong walang imik sa mga sinabi niya. We're eating so I ignored her and feed Lia.

After this day, umalis rin siya at umuwi na ng Pilipinas. She just really went here to check and talk to me. And I appreciate it. So much.

While Storm will stay here for one more day. Namiss daw kasi niya sina Tita.

Night comes and I was just staring at the ceiling, thinking of what Athena said. When will he go here then? Is he going to say sorry? Will he explain his side? Ngayon naiintindihan ko na kung bakit laging nasa Russia si Nathan.

I'm mad at Nathan. But... is he eating well? Does he miss us?

I sighed and tried my best to sleep.

"Mommy, Christmas is approaching." Scarlet said all of a sudden while we're in the garden.

It's getting colder and colder here in Ireland. But we still opted in staying out of the mansion and admire the beauty of the flowers. There are lots of flowers such as dandelion, tulips, daisy and roses. Madami ring mga paru-paro ang lumilapit kaya tuwang tuwa si Lia.

Etong mga nauna kong mga anak lang naman ang di natutuwa dahil gusto daw nila mag-mall. Scarlet got my face and attitude. Phoenix got his father's face and half of Nathan's attitude but sometimes, lumalabas ang ugali niya na namana noya sa'kin.

"Hmm, what do you want for Christmas, then?"

Nagtingininan sila ni Phoenix. "We want to go home in the Philippines." Sabay nilang sagot.

I stilled, staring at the both them, checking if they're really are serious. I was expecting them to ask for things. Ang bunso ko naman ay nakatingin saakin, tumatango na para bang sumasangayon sa mga kapatid kahit na di naman niya naintindihan ang sinabi nila.

"We'll see..." I answered plainly.

My answer made their shoulders sagged. They even pouted and bowed their head. Even Lia! And oh, God. My youngest started crying loudly! Pinagtutulungan nila akong magkakapatid, goodness.

"Fine. Fine."

And like the actresses and actor that they are, they immediately stopped crying. Oh, dear Lord...

A week have past now at naka-uwi na pabalik si Storm sa Pilipinas.

Nasa living room lang kami ng mga anak ko. I'm helping them with their school works. I can't remember the last time I helped Scarlet with her school works. I was busy with the company.

And with Phoenix, I want him to feel that I am his mother. I know that he believes on what I said, but I still can feel that he's not that used of the thought that I am his real mother. So, here I am, doing my best for him—them.

"What more do you not understand, baby?" I asked Scarlet. I'm helping her understand her math problems.

Scarlet sighed irritatedly, "Why am I solving math's problem?! It's not even my problem!"

Tito Sean, Tita Rain and me laughed loudly at Scarlet's remark. That's my line when I was in her grade too.

"You're just not that smart that's why you're having a hard time, Ate." Phoenix mocked his sister.
