Entrance Exam

AFTER WE ate our dinner, we decided to bring them to their rooms. We're silently walking in the hallway of our house papunta sa mga guest rooms. There are 4 maids at our back who's pushing their luggages.

I was holding Phoenix's hand on my left while my right hand is on my tummy. I feel so happy just by seeing this little boy. He looks so much like Nathan. A charmer.

"So, are your guest rooms... soundproof?" Nicco broke the silence. I was shock with what he said. Malakas na tumawa lamang si Nathan habang pinapalo palo naman siya ni Livvy.

"What? I was just asking."

"May mga bata!" Pinanlakihan siya ng mata ni Livvy.

We first went to a guest room that has two beds. Perfect for Phoenix and Laevich.

"You have this kind of bedroom?" Livvy asked, confused.

Napairap ako, "Nathan has always wanted a twin and he thought, it's nice to have a spare room like this. Well, that's what he told me."

"I see." Natatawang aniya.

The maids fixed the twins clothes on the cabinets. Nathan and Nicco went out of the room, may paguusapan lang daw sila. While I'm sitting on the bed, nakatitig lang ako kay Phoenix. He looks exactly the same ng napanaginipan ko noon.

"You know..." Napatingin ako kay Livvy, "Pinaglihian ko si Nathan kaya naging kamukha niya ang isa sa kambal. Nacucutan ako kay Nathan while inis na inis naman ako kay Nicco." She laughed.

I brushed the little boy's hair and smiled a little.

"Magkakaedad na siguro sila ng anak ko kung hindi ito namatay."

I saw her looked at me with pity. I shookt my head, telling her not give me that look. She immediately removed that emotion in her eyes and stared at her sons lovingly. Nakaramdam ako ng selos, sana may dalawa na rin pala akong anak kung nagingat ako.

"Nathan told me you're pregnant. How many months?"

I caressed my tummy, "3 months already."

The door opened. Nicco and Nathan entered the room and went beside me.

"It's time to sleep, baby." He said.

I slightly pouted and looked at Phoenix. I kissed his forehead and said my goodnight. I did the same thing to Laevich as well.

"Goodnight, guys."

Before me and Nathan went to our room, I checked Scarlet first. Nathan went to our room first and I told him na susunod na lang ako. I saw her on her small vanity, brushing her long and straight ginger red hair.

"Hi, mommy." She greeted when she noticed me peaking from her door.

"Hi, sweetheart. Ready to sleep, hmm?"

"Yes po. I was just brushing my hair."

"Let mommy do it, anak." I took the hair brush from her hand and started brushing her hair.

"Are you ready to be an ate?"

"Yes po!" She answered cheerfully and I can't help but laugh.

"Let's go to your bed already."

I then tucked her to bed and kissed her forehead. I stood up and went to her door. Before I close her light, I whispered good night first.

I walked to our room and saw him already dressed with his pajama. Dumiretso na ako sa bathroom para magshower. I changed into a cotton night dress and laid beside him.
