Sanyukta's POV

"This voice sounds familiar," I thought as I looked up to see him standing near his parents. My parents and his parents saw me gawking at him. It was not what they thought. It was me trying to process things, but I eventually made it more awkward than it already was. While I was battling, my every thought was visible on my face. He came and sat in front of me. For a second I even opened and closed my eyes to see if I was daydreaming because I haven't slept for two nights in a row because of assignment I have to submit to him on Monday. I couldn't digest the fact that he was sitting in front of me. While figuring out I pinched my arm and screamed a little which only frightened mine and his parents because it's been whole five minutes and I couldn't take my eyes off him.

It is ..........insane. My parents are ................insane. He is insane for coming here. I am insane for sitting here in front of him staring at him like a teen-age girl. Put your eyes down, Sanyu. He will think you are mad, which you are because you are sitting in front of him while his and mine parents are discussing our marriage proposal.

No marriage, nothing is happening here. I tried to get up from my seat, but everyone's eyes especially his made me sit back like a scared kitten. "Sanyu, it's terrible. How will you get out of this?"

I was still in my thoughts when I heard.

"Sanyukta?"

"Miss Aggarwal," he called me again.

"Yes, sir," I said and here I became a subject to laugh. I laughed awkwardly at everyone and slowly looked towards him who was standing and gesturing me to move.

"Shall we move?" he asked while getting.....I don't know what expression he has.

"Yes sir.......(hitting my head)..........I am sorry... yes, we shall," I said as I followed him.

                                                                     ............................................

On the terrace garden

We have been standing on the terrace for five minutes and no word.

 Great!

Well, because it was almost 8 now so the whole city was glowing and it looked beautiful from here. It was as if I could watch the entire city from here. Those cars running speedily and twinkling lights on hoardings. It was beautiful...............nothing could be compared to this. This is beautiful. It's been years since I have seen something like that. My parents they were very cool with me hanging out till my school but when I entered college they became........more concerned. I don't know what changed but it changed my life definitely................... because now I have a deadline of reaching at home before 7.

"Uhh....umm.....So you like what you see?" his voice brings me back to the actual world.

"umm...I think yes. I mean it's beautiful. I mean it's incredible," I stopped as I saw his face which definitely doesn't look pleasing.

It was again silence when I finally broke it with all my strength, "I am sorry" I said and he looked at me with confused expressions, "I am sorry for putting us in this situation. You don't worry about this. I'll talk to my parents and I am sure they will agree. We don't do this. I mean us.... sorry I am blabbering..... It's just it's awkward.....you are my professor who is my role model but you can't marry your role model. You admire them not marry them right." I just put my hands on my mouth to stop myself from further embarrassing........myself..........in front my professor and ran from there.

                                                              ...........................................

"The kids came," Renuka aunty said as she saw me coming.
