Part 13: Movie Marathon

Blair drives me home. I tell him he doesn't have to, but he smirks and asks what kind of boyfriend he'd be if he didn't. I told him that I wasn't judging his good boyfriend-ness by him driving me home, and he asked me if I wanted to take the bus, and I begrudgingly said no, so he drove me home. The very second that I'm in my bedroom, with the door closed behind me, I text Jillian.

Jilly:

I totally saw it coming but still

So, what else happened?
I'm assuming you didn't discuss the possibility of being boyfriends for several hours before finally coming to an acceptable agreement?

No for sure that's exactly what we did
We watched a lot of tv actually

Like, I never feel pressured or like he wants something from me
Or like I owe him anything or like he's trying to make me feel like I owe him
It's literally something out of a book

Sometimes I actually wonder if he took a class
On like, kissing and stuff
He's just so perfect
Not like, perfect perfect
Nobody's flawless
But he's just kind of perfect for me

Jilly:
Aww that's cute

I can tell she's trying not to be worried or overprotective because she doesn't want to ruin my good mood. I smile to myself. I have such a thoughtful best friend.

Sent:
Don't worry about me getting hurt, okay? 

Jilly:
You're funny

Sent:
Chances are, I'm going to no matter what
It's not going to last forever, nothing really does

Jilly:

But if he hurts you intentionally (eg. cheating on you, using you, etc.) then I will go after him

If he does any of that, you'll be the first to know
I'll need someone to slap him for me

Also are you free tomorrow because I think my sister has something and we haven't had a movie marathon for a week or two
We can go to the grocery store for snacks (to see Elliot)
