ISABELLE'S POV

I couldn't handle the thought of moving away again. I've moved so much already. I was born in Pennsylvania and stayed there for 3 years, then moved to Florida for 3 months. Next was Oklahoma for 6 months, then Columbus for 8 months. Then Maine for 2 years and New Mexico for 4 months. Washington for 3 years and Chicago for 1 year. And then Pennsylvania. And we've been here ever since.

But now my mom wants to move to New York. And I won't do it. I'm tired of moving and leaving my friends behind. So I'm never moving again.  Not with my family anyway.

Ring ring

I grab my phone. It's Adam.

"Hey."

"Hey babe. Whatcha doing?"

"Packing."

"Huh?"

"I'm leaving tonight."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean I'm running away." I began. " I have somewhere to go. Chelsea is letting me stay in her lake house. Her family hasn't been there in years."

"How are you getting there?"

"Logan. I love you Ad. But I gotta go."

"Okay. I love you too."

------
5 am.

I looked around my room before going out the window like my bags did.

I didn't want to leave but at the same time I wasn't staying either.

"I love you, mom.  I'm sorry," I said and left my life.

----------
The end of the road

I saw Logan parked at the end of the road, tossed my bags into the back of his truck and hopped in.

"Hey."

"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"Yeah. I'm sure. Just drive."

"Okay," he said and drove off.

We drove the whole way in silence. And he left me there.
