Chapter 4 - I can't believe it

{Inko pov}

As I woke up, I heard a knock on the door. I looked over to the side to see the time on my alarm clock. Then I got up to see who was at the door.

When I got to the door, I saw a letter on the floor. Crouching down, I picked it up.

'To Izuku Midoriya'

Why has he got a letter? He never get's letters. Well I better give it to him. I turned around and started to walk towards Izuku's bedroom.

'Knock Knock Knock'

"Izuku!"

"Yeah?"

"A letter came through the door for you"

"For me?"

"Yes, Open your door so I can give you it"

{Deku pov}

Slowly, I opened my door. Then I was greeted by my mum with a letter in her hand. She handed me it and sure enough it said 'To Izuku Midoriya' I got excited and shut my door. I ripped it open. My eyes lit up brighter for every line I read.

"Well tell me then Izuku" She persisted.

To Izuku Midoriya,

We wanted to invite you to the annual UA hero course try-outs. Please train hard and show us what you are made of. This letter is sent to a lot of family's every year. So please come to UA on the **** of *******. We wish you the best of luck!

"I-I'm GOING TO UA!" I shouted of absoloute joy.

"Wait what. Izuku what does the letter say?" My mum said.

I opened my door once again and gave her the letter. She read it and started to cry.

"I can't believe it. My baby's all grown up!" She said hugging me.

"Mum can you get me some training equipment?" I said releasing myself from the hug.

"Will do!"

Then she shot off into her bedroom, and not even five minutes later she came out. Fully dressed in a pair of blue jeans and a white t-shirt. The front door swung open and then she was gone. With the door closing automatically. Then it was quiet. The only sounds I could hear was the TV buzzing and natural house noises. Like creaking.

"I can't believe I'm going to UA!"

"Now I just need to work harder than ever to get stronger. Then I can prove everyone wrong. I can be a hero. I can be the number one."

Will my dreams finally come true?

{A couple of hours later}

{Deku pov}

"Izuku!" My mum shouted "Your stuff is outside your door!"

"Thanks mum!" I said as she finished.

I swiftly walked over to my door, and opened it. Sure enough everything I needed was right infront of me. Time to get started.

{No ones pov}

And so the next couple of months were tough. But Izuku didn't stop. Sometimes he would wake up only to do a training session then he'd fall asleep right on the spot. He worked so hard. Harder than anyone else. Because Izuku didn't have a quirk it was going to be much much harder to pass the exam.
