Chapter 17 - Baby steps

{The next day}

{Deku pov}

Mr Aizawa had woken me up pretty early. He said he had decided to give the whole class a day off. Crazy I know. Right now I'm in the training room. Every class has their own in their dorm buildings. It's basically just a room where you train. There's weights and other random crap. So like a gym.

"Midoriya, stop staring off into space!" Mr Aizawa said putting his hands on my shoulders "Try to stand on your own"

He let go and I felt no control over my legs whatsoever. I collapsed onto the ground and Kirishima who had came with me laughed.

"Hmph" I grunted.

"Okay, let's try again" Aizawa said picking me up.

"Okay" I replied.

He let go again and it didn't feel any different. I had literally no control over my legs. I fell to the floor again.

"Huff" I sighed.

"Don't get angry. You can't succeed on your first attempts anyways. It'll take time" Aizawa said picking me up again "Now let's do it again"

He let go of me and I fell again.

A slight tint of nervousness shone of my face. What if I'll never be able to walk again?

"This happens a lot, okay. Dont give up" He said picking me up once more.

He let go and once again I fell.

He just picked me back up and made me try again and again and again.

I was really out of breath now.

"C-Can we.... stop for a bit?" I said trying to squeeze in as many breaks for me to breath.

"Okay" Aizawa said coming to sit on the bench behind me "If you can get on the bench that is"

"Oh come on" I whined.

Yep, he was dead serious. This would be an easy task for people with legs that actually worked right now. I dragged myself across the floor like a fish trying to get to the sea.

Kirishima has started to laugh at me.

"This is not fairrrr" I groaned.

I heard the door of the room open. I look over and see Kacchan. Of course he would be here. He's like here alllllll the time. You can tell by looking at him.

He saw me on the floor and just smirked.

"Don't laugh at meeeeeeeeee" I whined.

"Midoriya, I'm waiting"

I looked over at Aizawa who just had a stupid smirk on his face.

"Yeah yeah" I pulled myself again. This is so embarrassing.

"Okay time's up" Aizawa said.

"Wait wh-"

He picked me up and let me go.

I collapsed to the ground again.

"I wasn't readyyyyyy" I whined.

"I don't remember asking if you were ready" Aizawa said.

"Wha-"

He picked me up again and let me fall.

"This is torture! You could at least help me" I said putting my head flat on the floor.

"Oh stop whining. You're like a six year old" Aizawa said picking me up once again.

When he was about to let me go his phone rang. He just let go of me like a frickin bouncy ball.
