Chapter 19 - Race ya

{Deku pov}

"Oi"

"hm?" I said still with my eyes closed.

"S c h o o l"

"Wake me up tomorrow" I said.

I opened my eyes and saw that Kacchan was dressed and everything.

"Wait, what time is it?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"10 minutes until school starts" Kacchan said yawning.

"WHAT! WHY DIDNT YOU WAKE ME UP EARLIER" I said sprinting to the bathroom taking my clothes with me.

"Cuz, you looked too cute when you were sleeping" He said.

"Yeah, sure" I said getting changed.

I finished getting changed and went to pick my bag up when I noticed Kacchan staring at a picture or something.

"Kacchan? What are y- GAH!"

Kacchan grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out of my room.

"And that was for?" I said letting go of him.

"Just thought I should do it. Pfft, you should of seen your face. HAHAHA" Kacchan said closing the door.

"It wasn't that funny" I said crossing my arms.

"Sure, dork" He said booping me on the nose then walking away.

"I'm not a 6-year-old" I snapped catching up to him.

"You can say that again" Kacchan said with a smirk on his face.

"Hmph" I groaned.

"I'm kidding" He said nudging me.

Deku~

"Wha-" I turned around "Again?"

"Hm?" Kacchan said stopping "Something wrong?"

"Urm IM GOING TO BEAT YOU TO SCHOOL!" I said running off.

"OH HELL NO" Kacchan said running after me.

Kacchan did have amazing skills when it comes to fighting, however he's not that athletic. I used to run a lot. When I used to run away from him and all the other kids at school, I used to get away pretty fast. I had the upper hand. Maybe, just maybe. I can finally win something against Kacchan.

And nope, it was a draw.

"Aww man, I *Deep breath* I thought *Deep breath* I had you there *Deep breath*" I said out of breath.

"Like *Deep breath* Like that would happen" Kacchan said with his hands on his knees.

"Urm" Kirishima came walking up to class, along with a few others.

I flopped to the ground sweating and Kacchan remained with his hands on his knees.

"Wait... did you guys race all the way here?" Kaminari asked.

"Well from their breathing I'm assuming they did, kero" Asui said looking over me.

"HOW DARE YOU TWO RACE HERE. YOU DO KNOW THAT TODAY WE WILL BE NEEDING THAT ENERGY!" Iida came right up to us with his pointy hand thingy.

"W- *Deep breath* What?" I said.

"We are going to be doing quirk training today, did you guys not know?" Kaminari said.

Me and Kacchan looked over at each other still gasping for air.

"Of course they don't know, they probably weren't even listening to Mr Aizawa, ribbit" Asui said.
