Chapter 29 - The pain underneath

{Bakugo pov}

The door flew open and someone got pushed in. Then it closed again.

"THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR LOSING THE BET! IZU!" The girl screeched.

I heard the click of the door lock. I'm surprised it even had a lock.

"Toga! Damnit! LET ME OUT!!" Deku tried to pull the door open.

I could tell Icy Hot and Aizawa were shocked. I was too. It was so sudden. The loud bangs stopped and Deku fell to the floor in the far corner where I still couldn't see him. Why is he hiding himself?

I could hear giggles and laughs from outside, but they quickly faded away.

It was really awkward. I knew that if I spoke he would cut me off. But, I wanted to atleast try.

"De-"

"Midoriya"

And great... Not only do I not get cut off by Deku I get cut off by Aizawa.

"Thanks, for the food" I said, feeling a little weird.

I hate saying thank you and that. I just do.

I heard something metal hit the ground.

"Shit"

Did Deku just swear. Jesus.

"Midoriya, please come into the light" Aizawa tried getting his attention again.

"Deku please!" I said, in a desperate tone.

"Why..." The voice said, it sounded so... sad.

"I want to... to see you" That was probably the softest tone I could of done.

"I have a t-shirt on..." He mumbled.

"Please... come into the light"

"I want it to stop..." Deku mumbled.

It sounded as if he was going to cry...

"What do you want to stop?" I asked.

"Everything..." He mumbled.

I felt an urge of anger in me... what did they do to him?

The figure got up off of the floor.

He moved towards us...

I saw the light touch his legs working its way up to his head.

C-Cut-s...

All o-over

My breathing started to get really shaky.

"W-What... d-id they d-do..." I stuttered, In disbelief.

"N-no..."

He was standing there with the fakest smile ever. Turning into the coldest of expression. He sat down with his arms wrapped around his legs.

"So... You've seen it now" Deku mumbled.

Me and Aizawa were completely speechless.

*Drip*

I looked down.

I w-was crying?

"Sorry... I guess I just don't belong here" Deku laughed through the pain.

You could tell just how broken he was now. He had completely given up. Given up on everything. His life. His everything.
