Derrick’s Pov
‘Oh my…you’re home? what happened, why are you all wet?’ Claire asked looking at me from head to toe as I walked in
‘A crazy girl happened’ I said turning to face her, as she just stood by the door
‘A crazy girl? Wh…why are you back?’ she asked walking up to me
‘Irrespective of my appearance, you don’t look really happy to see me…don’t you miss me’ I asked a little disappointed, I didn’t tell anyone I’d be coming back’ cause I wanted to surprise them
‘Umm…I missed you, of course it’s just I didn’t expect to see you home, it’s a little overwhelming’ she said
‘Yeah, well ok; I’ll just go change into something warm’ I said and made to go to my room
I just never felt at home here, not that I was mistreated or anything but Claire and Johnson always seemed so distant though they showed me love and supported me, somehow I felt like they never wanted me around. I was sent to a boarding house in Switzerland for high school, they also convinced me to attend college in France after which I was offered a job there by one of Johnsons friend. I don’t get to see Josh much either, but I feel closer to him than my parents, probably cause I was adopted I guess.
‘Where’s Dad’ I asked taking a sit next to her on the couch
‘He’s at a council meeting’ she answered, sitting up to face me. I almost forgot about the council and our little wolfie secrets, what can I say I lead a pretty normal life in Paris
‘You can't stay, a lot has happened around here and its not safe for you to be here right now’ she told me
‘Do you guys hate my presence that much！’ I asked, standing up abruptly. I can't take this anymore, if they don't want to see me, they should just say so.
‘Derrick, this is not about us or what we want...its just a really bad time’ She said holding my hands
‘Yeah, its never about us' always about the council right？’ I said pulling my hands out of her hold. I slammed the door as I walked into my room, what was I really expecting, I was never wanted here anyway. I picked up my bag and headed out, I was too angry to bid her goodbye' I didn't see her on my way out either so I guess she didn't need it after all.
I turned up the volume in my car as I drove off, I hate this city and everyone in it！ I took my eyes off the road to take a cigar from the pack and when I looked back up； boom！
Jessica's Pov
‘I can't believe that asshole, he's definitely on crack’ I said to myself as I walked back home. I just couldn't figure that guy out, one minute he's all over me and the next he's got amnesia' what a jork. Why do I even care though, I'll eventually find my mate and tada！ He'll sweep me off my feet, isn't that just so romantic...
‘I should really ask Josie more about this mate stuff, it seems a little cheesy’ I thought to myself as I attempted plugging my ear phone to my phone, my phone fell out of my hand； I bent over to pick it and next thing I know, am in the hospital, yeah, cause this looks like a doctor
‘Why am I here？’ I asked attempting to get up
‘Just lay down and rest, you were accidentally hit by this gentleman over here’ the doctor, whose name tag read George told me, I looked over to my left and of course it had to be him
‘I'll leave you to have a word’ he said to Drew and left
‘Are you trying to kill me’ I asked sitting up, my fist now formed into a ball； ready to pounce on this predator
‘If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn't bring you to a hospital’ he said with a chuckle as I narrowed my eyes down on him
‘I'm really sorry though, I hope you're ok now’ he added with a raised brow, twisting his lower lip
‘You hope am ok, you hope am okay！’ I said, more like yelled at him
‘First you act like you don't know me at the park and now you try to kill me and you have the nerve to HOPE I'M OK！’ I said, yelling the last part out
‘So thats where I saw you, you must have me confused with someone though...I'm really sorry about this’ he said gesturing toward my bed ‘I have to go now, I hope not to see you again’ he said as he made to go out
‘Wait’ I said getting off the bed
‘What are you doing, you shouldn't...’ I cut him short with a kiss, I don't know but I always wanted him to but he's just so clueless
‘What was...why did you？’ he asked taken aback, I placed a hand on his lip and walked out feeling like a boss lady
I left the hospital and took a bus home, I can't believe I kissed Drew ‘why did you do that？ Gosh you're so stupid, the guy who almost killed you and you pull off that shit’ I scolded myself mentally
‘Where have you been？’ Claire asked as I walked in
‘I took a stroll around’ I answered heading to my room
‘Wait, what's that？’ she asked pointing at the bandage on my elbow
‘Oh this, I fell and bruised my arm a little’ I lied faking a smile, why are my even smiling； so selling myself out
‘Ok, that should be gone by tomorrow’ she said
I don't really know what she meant but I was too tired to ask either, I locked the door behind me as I got in my room ‘You need a shower’ I told myself with a sigh as I turned on the water in the tub, I took my now dirty clothes off and got in. All I could think of was him, could he be my mate but he's human or is he not？...arrrgh this town is driving me insane！
Drews Pov
‘You should let me go’ I told the boy guarding the door, what was he 17-18
‘And why should I do that？’ he asked with a scoff
‘Because I said so’ I answered with a grin
‘Shut up！’ he said and plugged in his ear phone
I tried to link up with my mom and dad but I just couldn't get past this wall, she must be using magic but thats crazy, magic is strictly forbidden in the council so it'd be ironic for the council leader to break the one rule she herself made
‘Move him to the lab’ I heard a female voice say from outside, that must be Kira
‘Yes ma'am’ 17 year old guard replied
‘I need to take a leak’ I said with all seriousness
‘You'll just have to hold it’ he said pulling me up
‘If you don't let me go, I'll do it right here’ I said taking a look around, it'd really be no big deal if I peed here, the place was already a mess. So I was really surprised when he said...
‘Fine, you have 5 seconds and I'm coming in if your not out’ he said pointing to a brown rusty door
‘Thanks but I can't with this’ I said turning my head to the side to get a view of the cuffs
‘Either with that or you don't go at all’ he said with a scowl
‘Fine, I'll just use my legs； lucky me！I'm wearing joggers’ I said sarcastically walking into the surprisingly clean bathroom.
