Luke POV

I put the kids on the floor in the living room, not facing the scene of there mother on the floor, beat and bruised. I ran up to Kane ripping the belt out of his hands before I noticed the oozing coming from Bethany's back. I pushed Kane onto the floor as he fought back. I saw a fist coming at me and I felt woozy but that didn't stop me as I jumped on top of him throwing punches, clawing his face, I stopped suddenly thinking he was dead. Kane's eyes were close and he wasn't moving, I slowly walked over to Bethany, praying please, please, don't be dead.

"Bethany, Bethany!, please don't be dead. Bethany wake up please wake up. I love you, I love you so much" Tears were soaring down my face. She didn't respond, I felt a pain come from the back of my head as I looked at Kane with a bloody face and two bruised eyes holding a pan. Where the crap did he get a pan without me noticing! I grabbed the baby carriages and ran into Bethany's basement, looking for one of her dads guns. I found one in there spare bedroom but it didn't look like her dads it was pink camo, I shook away the thought as I put the babys in the spare bedroom trying to make them be quite by putting a pacifier in both of there mouths. I laughed as I thought of the dad I was becoming as I ran back up the stairs to find Kane with the belt again held firmly in his hands, I ran over, gun ready and Shot. Kane fell on the floor, I ran to the old landline in Bethany's house and called 911.

"911 whats your emergency"?

"1500 baker street get here as soon as you can" I hung up the phone and ran back down the stairs getting Mason and Izzy, as I walked back up I heard the familiar faint sounds of ambulance trucks coming our way.
