"Andy I'm not letting you, no way in hell I prefer dying." This was the on going argument we've been having since we left the hospital and now we're back at our flat. Javier got a mysterious call so he said he had to go somewhere so he dropped us off and left. The doctor gave me his card and told me to call him to set up a date for the operation. If it was up to me it would be tomorrow, but Caleb is rejecting my donation.
"I'm not letting you die when I'm the one who could save your life!" I barked back. I was getting so tired of this argument both of the were being extremely stubborn.
"Andy, listen, there's a 30% chance of you surviving that other 70% is you gone. You think I'll be able to handle the fact that my sister, one of the few people who I adore to death, is dead because of me? Because she wanted to give me her bone marrow and save me, but she lost her life? My best friend's girlfriend dead because his best friend needed her for a donation? You think I'll be able to live with that?"Caleb was now crying and I couldn't keep in the tears that I've been holding for hours.
I grabbed his hand and gripped on to it,"You know, you're my brother. I don't think I feel the love I feel for you for my own blood brother. You've been there for me, you've hugged me, been a shoulder I've cried on. You've made me smile, cry of laughter, you've made me a much stronger person. The chance of saving you is in my hands and I'm going to grip on that chance and I'm going to save you even if it's the last thing I do. If I leave, you will have Jav--Issac by your side he's going to be there with you. You know if I live then great, but if I don't then well it was my time to go. You're going to stay here and become a doctor and you're going to save lives and you're going to make me so damn proud from wherever I will be." I sniffled and he kissed the side of my head before hugging me.
"You are one brave motherfucker." He whispered and I couldn't help,but laugh.
"So is that a yes?" I removed from his hug and smiled at him.
"It's still a no, but I know you're probably going to drug me and put me in a hospital bed so I guess I'll do it voluntarily."
I squealed and clapped and attacked him with a hug,"We'll do it as soon as possible."
"Woah slow down there, you need time to recuperate." Caleb said.
"More time is worse for you, I'll take the risk. Can I call the doc now?" I asked.
"He's probably gone or busy lets try tomorrow morning." He reasoned out.
"Fine." I sighed and smiled at him.
"You know I love you this much." He expanded his arms as wide as he could.
"I know." I laughed and I expanded my arms too,"I love you this much too."
All of a sudden the door went wide open and someone fell inside it was Javier. He was gushing blood and he had bruises all throughout his body. I couldn't help but yell Caleb ran to him and helped him out. He rushed him to the couch and gently laid him down.
"IS THERE ANY MEDICINE HERE?" I yelled Caleb nodded and ran to his room.
"What happened Javier?" I whispered.
He mumbled and said,"They want the flashdrive."
"Who?" I indignantly asked.
"Picasso's people." He whispered.
