"So your name is Andy?" He said with a playful smirk.

"Hey,Hey,Hey no flirting with my wife." Sergio threatened.

"This is your wife the one you don't shut up about." He exasperated.

"Hello I'm right here guys."I said waving my hands.

"True true, want some dinner?" Sergio asked.

"A shower would be pleasant first, I'm all filled up with sand." Sergio nodded and took me to the guest room. I went to the restroom and stripped off my clothes, and took a shower.

After I took a shower I headed back to the living room where Sergio and his friend were eating Chinese Food.

"Want some?" Sergio offered.

"Duh." I chuckled and Sergio handed me some food. We began eating, Sergio and Fernando kept talking until Fernando excused himself because he received a call. After he left Sergio started talking to me.

"What happened?"

"That whore, he defends her so much it's ridiculous, and he doesn't understand any reasons, like she's a gold digger, and you know? The worst part, he told her everything about me and he pretty much portrayed me as a pity case as she said."

"Luis is such a moron, like he can't get any stupider." Sergio said shaking his head in dissaproval.

"I know, right now I want nothing to do with him what he did was low. I hope that whore learns a lesson though."

"What are you planning to do?" He asked.

"You'll see, she loves money and I love revenge. I'll get even." I was surely gonna make sure of that.

He chuckled and shook his head and came over to hug me. This was the thing about Sergio he always knew how to make me feel better.

"So why is your friend here?" I asked.

"He was bored in Spain, so I invited him over for a bit, before you know we get back in the field."

"Oh." Was my lameass response.

"So you saved him hu?"

"Yeah he almost died no biggie." I said shrugging my shoulders and heading to the couch in the living room.

"For him it was a biggie, since he got home he didn't shut up about that beautiful girl saving him in the beach." Sergio said.

"I would've done it for anyone else, plus he probably just wants to get in my pants like all the guys who have tried hitting on me these past months."

"Well---"

"You're wrong, I'm not that kind of man I wouldn't do that. I respect women to much to just disrespect them that way." Fernando said as he walked inside the living room.

"Well this got awkward." Sergio said.

"If you say so." I told Fernando.

"To prove it to you how about a date?" He offered.

"Nice move, but no thanks."

"Why not?"

"You're not my type."

"What's your type then?" He asked.

"Hmmm.. Not you that's forsure." Sergio chuckled.

"Want some ice for that burn?" He told Fernando who just sussed him.

"I think you're scared." Fernando said.

"Scared of what?"

"Of falling in love because you're heart has been broken." He did hit a nerve there.

"You don't know anything about me, you barely met me a few hours ago." I snapped.

"You're right I did, but I have this thing where I could easily read people."

"Oh yeah, what am I thinking or showing right now?" I asked.

"Well right now you're showing how pissed you are."

"You got that right, right now I'm pissed and saying fuck you." I bitterly said.

"Feisty." Sergio whispered.

"You've created a shield to protect your broken heart. You're still aching right now even when you're trying to hide it."

"Aren't you a soccer player not a psychologist? So how about you stop talking about what I've been through according to your data, and just leave me alone."

"You're being a bitch too because you think that's gonna make you feel better." He did have that right too.

"Hey hey don't take it that far man." Sergio told Fernando in a serious tone.

"You know what I didn't come here for a free therapy session from a wanna-be psychologist." I turned around and began walking to the room Sergio gave me. I was so furious he even made me forget how furious I was at Luis. That asshole, jerk, moron, idiot. I began pacing back and forth ready to castrate him. There was a knock on the door.

"Andy!" It was Sergio. I opened the door and let him in.

"He's sorry." Sergio said.

"I honestly don't care he can shove his apologizes up his ass."

"He's just like that kind of person don't let it get you all worked up babygirl. He wants to apologize, but since you walked off he didn't want to come bug you more than he already did."

"You know everything he said was true." I whispered.

"Hey it's okay, I know you're still aching, but time will heal your broken heart." Sergio came over to me and embraced me in a much needed hug.

"Get some sleep okay?" He ordered before giving me a cheek on the kiss and walking out the door.

I changed into some shorts and an undershirt. I laid down in bed and closed my eyes.

---------------------------------------------

It's been like 4 hours since I've tried going to sleep and I have failed miserably. I finally decided to get up from bed and go grab a cup of water. I made my way to the kitchen and filled up a cup of water. I heard some footsteps approaching me from behind and I immediately turned around to see Fernando standing there. I grabbed my cup and walked away.

"Wait." He said.

I turned around to look at him.

"Look I'm sorry for what happened a few hours ago it was out of line for me to say all that." He did seem honest saying that.

"It's fine, I may have over reacted." I admitted.

"Just a bit." He chuckled.

"Well now that we are done with that goodnight." I smiled and began walking away.

"Hey Andy." He called out and I turned around.

"Yeah?"

"How about we start over again?" He said extending his hand.

"I would like that." I took his hand and shook it.

"So friends?" He asked.

"Not so fast buddy, acquaintances." I smirked.

"Better than nothing, right?" He winked before leaving me in the kitchen all alone.

I headed off to bed for some odd reason with a smile plastered on my face.
