The Saturday after Memorial Day, Thor and I left for Asgard. When we arrived, we both settled back into our rooms there. I felt like it was going to become a pattern of being at each place for two weeks, then going back. At least for me, I doubt Thor would like to do that. At least it would decrease the moments where I'd pop over to Asgard randomly. I laid in my bed for a bit, still getting over the initial wave of emotions recently. It's been a year, and I still can't get over it. My thoughts were interrupted by a light knock at the door.
"Come in!" I yelled as the walls were thick here. Frigga walked in, and we smiled at each other.
"Welcome back, how's your family down there?" She asks, and I shrug.
"Good, they are humorously sarcastic idiots, but good." I admitted and sat up as she came over.
"Well, while you were gone, I made you something--" She paused when she saw the locket, and I looked at it sighing.
"Her assistant found it in her desk a month ago." I state. "He gave it to me as a gift from her. He added a picture of her and I as a gift himself." I tell her, and she smiles lightly at it. "Thor already told me why she had it, and it's property." She nods understanding and sits down.
"I'm glad it's in your possession now." She says, and I smile at that. "Now, as I said, I have a few gifts for you, they're in my chambers." She states, getting back up, and I follow her down to her chambers. When we got there, three Asgardian dresses stood on those sewing statues, but they each had a different look. They had a Midgardian look to them, which actually made them look amazing.
"These are beautiful, you made these?" I ask, and she nods.
"Yes, I did. Odin allowed me to visit Midgard for a day, and see what the fashion was there. I did my best to blend in, though, I got looks." She admits, and I chuckle, remembering getting some Bifrost signatures.
"Yea, you ended up visiting Malibu, by the way, I remember getting the Bifrost readings a day after my Birthday. I just figured you guys sent someone to live down here." I admit, and she nods at that. "But these are gorgeous, and definitely something I'd wear." I admit as I looked closely at them. The top of the dresses had the normal Asgardian ruffle but had a quarter sleeve no dress in Asgard ever had. Towards the bottom, it fits like a typical dress, but also a loose skirt. A ribbon tying at the waist, then it stops just below the knee. The best part, they have pockets.
It was like that for all three, in light blue, purple, and green, but old accented into them in different places. "I absolutely love these, thank you so much." I told her, then hugged her, and she was stunned for a second, before hugging me back.
"Your welcome, my child." She says and kisses my head. "Now I'm sure you want to go find Sif, or maybe visit someone..." She trails like she knows, I know she knows and I shake my head.
"Maybe later, but I definitely want to try one of these on." I state, and she nods. She leaves the room, so I could change into one. I chose the green one, as green always complicated my complexion. When I walked out so she could see, she smiled brightly, and I could see tears form a bit. "What's wrong?" I ask, and she shakes her head smiling.
"You just look so much like your mother." She states, and I nod, looking down. "But you look amazing in that." She says, and I smile, looking into the mirror a bit. She is right, I do look a lot like my mother in green. I chuckle, remembering how people used to say that we looked more like sisters than mother and daughter.
"There you are!" I hear Sif exclaim, and I jump a bit, looking over to see her enter. "I saw Thor was back, so I came looking for you. Wow, you look amazing, Frigga you did amazing with those dresses." She tells her, and we both smile at that. "I have gifts for you too." She states, and starts to pull my arm.
