After another week in Asgard, and a feast as an early Birthday celebration, I headed back to New York. Thor joined me, and when we got there, we were greeted by the team. Dad hugging me first thing. "There they are!" He exclaimed, coming up to me, as we entered the tower from the new balcony. Once we embraced and then separated, Clint was the next up, where we did our quick handshake we might have made up when on the Skaw mission.

I then held out my hand when it was done, and he sighed, pulling out a ten. "I was hoping you'd forget." He admits, and I shake my head.

"I have an eidetic memory, but I don't think anyone can forget what it feels like to explode." I state, and they all nod at that.

"How does it feel to explode by the way?" Dad asks as we all head into the living room to catch up.

"Well, first, you have to be shocked with what was it, at least three billion volts." I state, and Thor looked a little upset by it. "Don't look too upset, it didn't hurt until I woke up the next day." I state, and he looked like he felt a bit better. "Felt like each cell of my being was being shocked, then after you can let go of the lightning rod, you feel the energy build-up." I explain. "Then you have about seven seconds to get out of the atmosphere before the energy stops building. You explode and pass out for what feels like hours, but is only a few seconds."

I finished, and they looked shocked by that. "Are you okay?" Steve asks, and I nod, stealing Dad's drink.

"Oh yea, you're sore for about three days, but fine otherwise." I state and take a sip before handing it back. He puts it on the other side of himself, giving me a look.

"But no, seriously, are you okay?" Dad asks, and I nod.

"Mentally?" Natasha questions, and I nod again.

"I'm fine." I say, and they sigh, knowing they won't get anywhere with me.

"Anyway, what theme do you want for your party?" Dad asks, going to write it down as I think sighing.

"No party." I shrug, and he looked at me, shocked. Even Nat and Clint looked at me, shocked.

"But you've had a party every year." Clint states, and I nod.

"I'm pretty sure last year you both had a Party Forever theme." Nat states, and I nod.

"Technically, I only had that theme." I point at myself. "But so much has happened in the past year, and so much responsibility has been thrown on since..." I hesitate as it still hurts to bring up once and a while. It went silent for a few moments before we all sighed.

"So Disney marathon, with all six of us, Pepper, Nola, and Austin?" Dad asks, and I nod.

"Yeah, sounds good to me." I laugh, and we all chuckle as I look around, noticing one of the six missing. "Bruce is in the lab, isn't he?" I ask, and they nod.

"He's been having a field day in there." Nat states and I smile, getting up.

"I'm going to go, say hi." I state, and they all nod, starting to talk about other stuff as I find my way to the new lab. When I found Bruce, he was fussing over a new biological experiment. I almost did a one-eighty as I didn't want to interrupt that, but he heard and spotted me before I could even turn around.

"Erika, your back." He says, and I nod. "Come here, I actually need help with something." He says, and I walk over after grabbing safety glasses.

"Okay, what am I exploding?" I ask, and he looks at me, shocked, and I scoff. "I'm kidding." I chuckle, and he calms down. "What do you need?" I question and look over what he is doing.
