"NO!" Thor exclaimed as they saw Frigga stabbed by a loose prisoner. A lightning bolt went and hit the leader in the face, as they ran in. The other Dark Elf grabbed him though, and ran off the balcony making their escape. Erika not too far behind ran in, and saw Thor attempt to strike their ship as they disappeared. She noticed Frigga dead on the floor, and held onto the table attempting to stay grounded. Odin went up to her though, and held his wife one last time.
The ceremony of death that night was beautiful. Frigga on a boat in front of everyone who died that day, the guards that fought in the throne room to the prison. After Frigga turned into star dust, balls of light made by every mage in the city sent one out in honor of her, and everyone who died. It was a night of sorrow, as a lot of deaths happened that day.
That next day, Erika was in the garden just staring at the fountain, still trying to comprehend that she just lost another person close to her that she saw as a mother. She was too distracted to notice Thor sit down next to her, and pull her in for a side hug. "I'm going to miss her too." He states, and she nods trying not to cry. She sighs leaning into him more.
"It feels like I just lost her again." She admits, and he nods. "She reminded me so much of my Mother, and now I don't have that familiarity any more. She still had so much more left to teach me, and memories to make." She says, and he kept a grip on her. "And if we are dealing with, what I believe we are dealing with, I-- we need her more than ever." She states, and he nods.
"Some things we have to deal with on our own." He states, as she leans forwards. "We can control what we can." He says, and she shakes her head as she lets out blue mist from her hands.
"I thought I had control, but this is the second time I've... Glitched out, I guess is the term." She states, as the mist turns a violent red, and wraps around her hands. She stops it, and breaths out. "I don't know if I can control it." She says, and he nods.
"Some parts of our reality, we can't control." He says, and she just stared ahead not knowing what else to say. There was some clamering of armour, and guards came up behind them.
"Your Majesty's, Lady Jane is now in custody in a guarded room. The Allfather is also having a meeting with the war council." They are informed of, and they took one look at each other annoyed. They both knew what happened, and they were not in favor of it. They both got up, and headed towards the throne room where Odin was having a meeting about the defences with the war council. On the way discussing how to get the Aether out of Jane.
"She's your prisoner now?" Thor questions, as they both walked up to the destroyed throne.
"Leave us." Erika commanded the guards, who left rather quickly. It was a few moments before Odin walked down to them.
"I do not wish to fight with either of you." He tells them.
"Nor I with you." Thor says, and Erika nods to agree. "But I intend to pursue Malekith." He states.
"We possess the Aether. Malekith will come to us." Odin states, and she nods at that.
"Yes, and he will destroy us." They state.
"You both overestimate the power of these creatures." He tells them.
"No, I value our people's lives." Thor states. "We'll take Jane to the Dark World, and draw the enemy away from Asgard. When Malekith pulls the Aether from Jane, it will be exposed and vulnerable. And I will destroy it and him." Thor explains the plan, and Odin turns to face them.
