The last four episodes were spread out over a four-month period!

---

After a few weeks, what was said finally left my mind. I went back to Midgard for the beginning of July, as for the past few years, the crime around them would rise. Thor was going to come down on the Fourth to celebrate Caps Birthday, which was nice. Clint and Natasha were on two separate missions for the day. Nola had a monthly evaluation for SHIELD to take care of. According to both assassins, each agent has to do it in their first year in SHIELD.

Steve, Dad, and I are helping around the city taking care of the crimes. The NYPD, Brooklyn Stations and Queens Stations struggled for the past few days, and only expected it to worsen as the Fourth of July grew closer. Some people are a bit confused when it comes to the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Some weird sentences have come out of my mouth today.

"No, sir, the constitution was written in 1787, not at the beginning of the universe." I state. "Okay, that tops it." I admit that as I bring a man in for protesting illegally, the use of not needing a firework permit sets off fireworks. As soon as he was at the Queens precinct, I changed my comms channel to go one way into Dad, and Steve's com. "I believe I've got the weirdest sentence today, nothing can top it."

I inform them, before going to change my comm to the Queen's station radios. Zara cut me off, though. "Erika, you've got an incoming call from Fury, I've been asked to patch him through right away." She tells me, and I nod signaling to answer.

"Hey Patchy, what's up, bit busy today." I tell him, and he sighs.

"It's about to get busier, there's an attack happening outside of Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice." He states as I get ready to teleport. "The DCPD has it mostly under control, but we have a suspicion of a bomb close by." He states, and I nod, getting the point.

"I'll check it out." I state, and hang up. I teleport right in the middle of the fight and knock a few of the gunmen out. I took a quick look around to see if I could see anything, before flying up and trying to get an aerial view. I was getting shot at, though, and made sure my shield was out. I still couldn't see anything, though. I then got a glimpse of one of the gunmen running over to the Nathan Hale Memorial and attaching something to it.

It was small, but I could tell it was a small bomb. I landed, and it started blinking rapidly. It was going to blow, I didn't have time to remove it and get it away. I put my shield behind me as I was getting shot at, and tried to put a field around it but was too late. It blew up and threw a handful of people back with some damage to the building behind it. "Shit." I curse and get up sighing. "Zara, you know what to do." I tell her.

"Money already sent for repairs." She states, and I nod as I help the DCPD bring down the rest of the gunman. I then teleported into Fury's office to tell him the news myself.

"Well, that was a shit show." I state, and he turns around from looking out the window. I take off my mask, putting it on the table.

"What happened?" He asks, and I sighed.

"Nathen Hale blew up." I state, and he winces. "Thought I'd tell you myself, unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough." I admit, and he nods.

"Understandable, though, you've been bringing in people all day." He states, and I nod.

"I should get back to that." I state, and he nods before I teleport back to Queens.

""No sir, the constitution was written in 1787, not at the beginning of the universe."" I repeat what I've said today to Dad, and Steve, who chuckled at that.
