"To the tower."

When the Bifrost disappeared from my vision, and the tower came into view, we walked forwards into the living area. The whole team was already there and sat up when we entered. Dad, the first one up, and coming over to us. He pulled me into a hug as it has been a few weeks since we last saw each other. "Hey there Glowstick, how was Asgard?" He asks, and I shrug.

"Same old, same old." I state. "Kinda like here, training, tons of food, people acting like someone ate the last waffle and pancake." I tell them, and they all chuckle while Steve scoffs.

"It was one time." I hear him whisper, and Thor sighs.

"We have some news." He says solemnly, and I know what he is about to tell them. I sigh, pretending to be sad too, and nod as I go to the bar to get a jar.

"Good or bad?" Bruce asks, and I sigh, grabbing a jar.

"Depends on how you view it." I tell them and nod back at Thor so he can tell them.

"Did you guys hear about what happened in Greenwich, UK?" He asks them, and they nod.

"Yea, some portals opened up." Steve states, and we nod.

"Yea, we would have helped." Dad says, pouring himself a drink. "But it only lasted like forty minutes, and by the time we got on a jet and was only one fourth across the Atlantic, it was all over." He adds, and I nod at that.

"Fair." I admit. "But we were able to handle it." I state, and Thor nods at that.

"But a few hours before that..." He breaths in. "Loki died... Helping us." He states, and the reactions filled the room.

"Wait, you let him out--" Clint and Nat exclaimed, as Bruce continued.

"-After everything, he's put us through--" Steve was next.

"--You let him out." He says, and we nod. Dad was quiet, and I looked at him for a reaction, but he didn't seem surprised. I know it's the same reason why I'm not surprised. I grabbed a sharpie and calmly wrote 'Bet Jar #L' on its side, then took out my wallet.

"Okay, I'm not surprised he's dead, but why did you guys let him out?" Dad asks, and I sigh.

"Should we start at the very beginning?" Thor asks, a little confused, and I nod.

"Considering it involves something connected to my powers, once again, context should be included." I tell him, and he nods as I go to start. "So you all know the name, Jane Foster?" I ask them, and only Nat and Clint nod. "Okay, for the three left out. She's an astrophysicist that he met last year at the beginning of May, along with Selvig." I start while pouring myself some water. "That New Mexico mission that Thor and Clint pick each other on about all the time." I state, and they give each other a look of amusement.

"Anyway, apparently there was some weird readings, and invisible portals coming from a building in London. She ended up stepping through one and ended up on Svatálfheim, aka Dark World. She found what is called the Aether, which is what is connected to me, and absorbed it." I state, and they cringe a bit. "I actually felt what happened because of the connection, and we both went to see her. After some string of events, all three of us end up on Asgard." I then sighed as Thor went into the next part.

"My father was going to send Jane home, but after the power of the Aether unleashed itself on some guards, he let her stay. My Mother helped look after her while everyone was trying to figure out a way to remove it from Jane. But during that, the Dark Elves showed up looking for the Aether. They killed my Mother when trying to get to Jane, and Father wanted us to stay on Asgard so they could take out the Dark Elves once and for all." He explains, and I nod, rolling my eyes.
