It has been a week since I have been Hayes' girlfriend. We were going strong. we texted a lot and met up at the waterfall almost everyday.

We haven't told anyone except for Nash because Hayes is worried that his fans will hate on me. I understand where he is coming from but it just annoys me because I want people to know that he is mine. But I agree with him.

'BZZZZZZZZ'

My phone went off.

I looked at my notifications and saw I have a text from Hayes

Hayes❤️ (yes he has a love heart next to his name) *hey I want to see you. Come to the park*

Me *okay park or waterfall?*

Hayes❤️ *ummm waterfall*

Me *okay be there in 10 xxx *

Hayes❤️ *cant wait😘*

I put my phone down and got ready. I only had to brush my hair and change my top. I changed my top from an old tee to a Santa Cruz singlet. Then I grabbed my phone and walked to the front door. I told mum where I was going and then left.

I walked towards the park and was humming Shawn Mendes' song, life of the party. It is my favourite song ever!

When I reached the park, I started to run towards the waterfall.

When I got there, I saw Hayes sitting on his rock. I call it his rock cause he always sits on the same rock.

I walked up to him and he stood up with a smile on his face. He put his arms out and pulled me into a hug. I always felt safe in his arms.

When he let me go he held onto my waist. he stared into my eyes and smiled.

"What are you looking at?" I asked. "How beautiful you are. I'm so lucky to have you" when he spoke those words, my smile grew wider than it has ever been. I felt my cheeks go red and I tilted my head down so he wouldn't see that he made me blush.

He lifted my head up and smiled at me. I smiled back, my cheeks still red. "Did I make THE Danni-Elle Matthews blush?" He said smiling. "Shut up" I responded smiling.

Hayes smiled and sat on his rock. I sat on mine. Hayes reached out to hold my right hand. Our fingers intertwined and it was perfect. Every moment with him was perfect.

It was silent but a comfortable silent. We both just watched the water drop and hit the little lake. Not many people came to the waterfall. I've only ever seen 2 people come. Today we were all alone.

Hayes turned to face me. I turned to face him. I stared into his big baby blue eyes and he stared into my brown eyes.

"I want to take you on a date tonight" Hayes said. I responded with a question. "Benjamin Hayes Grier, are you asking me to be seen in public with you?" It was a joke but Hayes got it. He giggled at my response, "yes. I want people to know you are my girl." He was smiling still. "Yes" I was smiling too.

We were going on our first date tomorrow. I was so excited!
