Good news and bad news

When we sat down on the blanket, Hayes opened the basket and got some food out. It was all my favourites. McDonalds fries, KFC burgers and Chicken nuggets from the chicken and chips shop about 2 minutes away.

I laughed when I saw all the food cause I thought it was going to be something like sandwiches and biscuits.

"What are you laughing at?" Hayes said with a smile on his face. "Nothing. I love this" I replied. He smiled at me and continued taking out the food.

We started eating and it was SOOOOO GOOOOOODDDD!! I was in heaven. Eating my favourite foods with my favourite person in my favourite setting.

After we ate, we both laid down and watched the stars.

Bzzzzzzz I checked my phone. It was a text from mum.

Mum *i know that you are on your date with Hayes but I just got us tickets to visit your friends in Australia! We will be there for a month so tomorrow morning wake up early and pack a big suitcase.*

Me *yay can't wait!*

"Who's that?" Hayes asked sitting up. "Just my mum." I smiled. "What did she say? Does she want you home?" He was now faced towards me. "Nah, but tomorrow I'm going to Australia for a month." I was kind of sad now. I don't want to leave Hayes for a month. What if he finds another girl to fall for? I will be thousands of miles away from him. Anything can happen and I won't be there to stop it.

I had a sad look on my face. "Oh" Hayes said. We were both looking down. "Maybe you can come with me" I tried to make things better. "My mum won't let me go to Australia for a month" he said. " but you go on meet and greets for ages without her" I said. "Yeah but it's in America. Not a different country" he was still looking down.

At this moment, I didn't know what to do. Do I cry? Do I laugh? No, why the hell would I laugh. I put my arm around him and engulfed him in a hug. "What if you meet someone there and fall in love and want to stay there? I will be heartbroken" Hayes said. He put his arms around me and rested his chin on my shoulder. "I won't fall in love with anyone. Someone already has my heart and I won't risk loosing that person for some stupid relationship that will last a month. I love you Hayes, you hold my heart not anyone else" I spoke into his shoulder.

"I love you" our lips connected after Hayes spoke those three words. Our mouths moved in sync. Perfection.

I just wanted to forget about going to Australia and live in the moment right now, with Hayes and worry about Australia tomorrow.

We talked a little and then it was time to go. We packed up the picnic and got all the tea light candles. Hayes walked me home. I was scared for him though because it was dark and late and he lived two streets away. Something could happen to him.

"Please stay overnight, something could happen to you when your walking home and I won't see you for a month" he smiled and took out his phone to call his mum. I sat on the porch and watched him talk on the phone. I was so lucky that I had him.

When Hayes hung up he walked over to me and out his hands on my waist. I put my arms around him, not in a hug but my hands were on his arms. "She said it's okay if your mum says it is, otherwise she can drive down and get me" he said. The first thought in my head was yay! He grabbed my hand and our fingers intertwined.

We walked inside and into the kitchen where my mum was making a tea. "Mum, can Hayes spend the night?" I asked. "Sure honey but keep your clothes on, both of you" she said with a smile. "Thanks mum"

We walked into my room and I put the basket in the corner.

"What do u wear to bed?" Hayes said. I smiled a smirk at him. I walked over to my closet and took out a onesie that was too big for me. "You wear this, and I'll wear this" I said taking out a matching one that fit me.

Hayes was taller than me so the first one should fit. He went into the bathroom to get changed and I changed in my room. When he walked in, I laughed. He looked so cute. We were wearing the same onesie HAHAHAHAHHA. They were both pink with cartoon cows sitting on clouds.

I sat on my double bed and Hayes put a movie on. When he sat down, he put his arm around me and pulled me close to him. I rested my head on his shoulder and put my arm over his stomach. I felt my eyes getting drowsy half way in the movie. I looked up at Hayes and he was fast asleep. His mouth was slightly opened and his head was tilted so it rested on mine. He looked so cute.

I turned off the movie and tv and closed my eyes.

The next morning, I woke up and Hayes was on his phone. I smiled at him and he kissed me on my forehead. I got up, grabbed his hand and walked into the bathroom. I got out the lack of toothbrushes and got him one. We brushed our teeth together.

When we finished, I checked my phone and sat on my bed. I had a notification. It was a text from mum last night. I looked at it and it was a picture she took of me and Hayes sleeping. We were cuddled up together in our matching onesies. "Hayes, look at this" I showed him the picture and sent it to his phone. He posted it on Twitter and said 'matching with my girl<3' I retweeted it. I gained 2k followers on Instagram and Twitter. Maybe because people finally knew that I was Hayes' girl.

I set my phone background to a picture of me and Hayes and started packing my suitcase. Hayes changed into the same clothes he was wearing the day before.

Today was the day that I was leaving my boy for a month. When the reality kicked in, I started crying. I was an emotional person and this was no exception.

It was going to be hard to leave him for a month.

We arrived at the airport and Hayes was with us. I sat in the middle and had Charlie on my left and Hayes on my right. Dad drove and mum sat in the passenger seat. Elizabeth, Skylynn and Nash were meeting us at the airport to say goodbye and pick up Hayes. They were like my second family. Did I tell you that Elizabeth and my mum were like best friends and I think Charlie had a thing for Nash but I wasn't 100% sure. But she said that she still has feelings for her last boyfriend.

"Now boarding flight 324 to Australia, flight 324 to Australia" the lady announced our flight. Mum, dad and Charlie walked towards the boarding gates after saying goodbye. I said my goodbyes and when I got to Hayes, a tear rolled down my cheek. I hugged him and gave him a kiss. "I love you Hayes" "I love you too Danni-Elle" we whispered those words into each other's ears during our hug.

I walked towards the boarding gate and just before I turned the corner, I turned around and waved at Hayes. I felt like I was leaving him for ever. But I was only going to be gone for a month.

A month too long.
